It will not compact or bunch up like fleece seat savers, nor absorb and hold heat the way a gel pad will. works as intended and adds just enough cushion without taking seat size away. I do with the strap around the horn was adjustable so i didn't have to tie knots in it to get it to sit the way i wanted without it moving. loos of one star for that and it does move some so you really have to (pardon the pun) cinch it down. A friend of mine has had this exact seat saver for years and really likes it also, so that speaks to it's longevity.

I’ve been using cashel saddle seat pads for years. They always last a couple years at least. I love the low profile of this one and being all black, it blends in with my saddle.

Very impressed with the comfort of this tush Kush, but disappointed how quickly the covering fabric has worn through. I literally rode it less than 20 times and there are big holes in it already. Maybe my butt is too sharp! LOL

When walking (on horseback), I like to take my feet out of the stirrups. While this makes my knees comfortable, it makes my seat bones sore after a long trail ride. I don't have much natural cushion so this works beautifully. Get the 3/4" one!

I love this thing. When we deer hunt, we can spend upwards of 8 hours in the saddle. This little pillow stays in place and pads the boniest part of your tush. (Don't ask me why that part of your body gets both bonier and flabbier as you get older!) The Tush Cushion has enabled me to once again ride comfortably all day.
