Worked for about a year and then stopped charging. I continued to use my UPS as a surge protector. Finally decided to replace the battery and found this Casil battery had evidently malfunctioned, cracked, and expanded. I cannot safely remove it even after taking apart the UPS.

It is a solid replacement battery for my UPS. One of the items the review asked for a rating on was longevity. It's hard to rate longevity on a brand-new item. I don't even remember how long the prior batteries lasted me; this is the third set I've put into this particular UPS. There were no instructions, although the installation was obvious. As long as you replicate the original way the wiring was set up and slide the new batteries in without disconnecting the wires, installation is easy. At this point in time, highly satisfied.

Easy to install.

The battery assembly slides right in, something that I couldn't do with two separate batteries. Price is, of course, far less than APC batteries.

Yeah it is that time of the year, when your battery back ups begin to tell you the batteries are failing. So here we are, 2 new units for the larger UPS backup. They usually fit perfectly, of good quality and functional for a year or two.

These are a tiny bit smaller in AH than the original but they will work just fine.

UPDATE: Contacted the vendor and they immediately send me another set of batteries. Great customer service. They stand behind their product and new battery is working great.Purchased in January 2024 (this year) and installed the first battery. Power outage and after that a constant tone with the flashing red and green light. Thought might be defective so replaced with second battery. Same flashing red and green light and now emitting a sulfuric odor. How can both batteries be defective?
