I have used the charger and it works great. I like that it plugs right into the electrical socket without a dangling cord. And, with the included car charger and european adapter, rare will be the time that I cannot charge my battery. I think I am all set for taking lots of pictures! the only improvement I would add would be to have a green light indicator when the battery is fully charged; this does have a red light that goes OFF when the battery is charged, but it's not quite the same, so four good stars, but not five.
