The pedal that came with my Casio CDP-120 digital piano stopped working suddenly, so I bought this as a replacement. It looks just like the original and it works perfectly. Using the keyboard without a functioning pedal was frustrating and it sounded terrible, so I'm thrilled that I found a replacement.

Like some others have said, this pedal is very light and will not stay in place, however, for the price it's excellent and gets the job done. I use in on my Casio keyboard (that is at least 15 years old). The cord is sufficient in length - I have my keyboard at a height where I can stand (I'm 5'3") and there is still slack to the pedal.Would recommend to a friend who isn't looking to break the bank for a pedal.

Economical pedal worked well with non-Casio keyboard. Didn't notice any 'sustain' difference depending on how far the pedal was depressed. It slides around a bit on a smooth floor. Would probably use carpet tape if keyboard stayed in one place. Yet, for the price, it functions just fine.

I bought this foot pedal for my daughter. I plug it in and nothing happens. Disappointing buy. I would not recommend.

As a sustain peddle this works fine but I find it is too light in weight and difficult to keep in place with my foot. My plan is to fasten it to something with more weight and keep it from travelling across the floor.

I already had a pedal (same unit) for my Casio PX555R, but needed a second for some pieces. This works just fine. While it is light and can easily move around (which is even more of a problem with two of them), the solution was simple. I used a 12"x12" ceramic tile (~ $1 at home stores) that matches my carpet, and glued them to the tile with industrial adhesive. Now they are rock-steady and because of the color choice and low height of the tile, it's barely noticeable.

This was a little bigger than I expected, but that's not a bad thing at all. I was very relieved when I plugged this into my Casio and it worked perfectly. I had a weird paranoia that it would somehow be the wrong type. I'm a total bargain hunter, and the price was the best. Combined with free shipping, it was a win-win. I'm very happy.

If you are going to use a keyboard (mine is the weighted keys moded) this is a nice foot pedal. It can be attached for sustain or soft Casio plug ins...I just find it easy to use and though it doesn't feel like a piano pedal key, it works very much like one.

Pros:Small and light. It works.Cons:Slides all over the place unless you have it taped down or wedged against a wall.Makes a clicking sound every time it's compressed. This pedal came with my Privia PX-130, but I quickly became tired of chasing it around the floor and upgraded to a . Additionally, when playing at low volumes, the clicking sound it makes is noticeable distraction. If you absolutely need something small and light, or don't have room under your board for a piano style sustain pedal, this is a workable option. Otherwise, an M-Audio piano style sustain pedal at the same price seems like a no-brainer.
