Shoebox Cassette Recorder with Carrying Handle

The USB cassette recorder takes you back to the memories of the 1980s, offering typical functions of vintage recorders/players such as play, forward, rewind, pause, record and other function buttons.

The recorder has two modes to choose from, USB mode and tape mode. It can play your old tapes and mixtapes to listen to your long-cherished music, and it can also be used as an audio converter, converting tapes and saving them on a USB flash drive.

In addition to playing tapes, portable cassette recorders have independent microphones and can record external sounds to tape or USB thumb drives. Also suitable for meetings, lectures or daily recording.

With its sleek, classic design, clear stereo channel outputs, and versatile convenience, this retro tape player is a great choice for tape collectors.

USB Digital Playback/Recording

The recorder has a USB port (USB flash drive not included) and is compatible with USB audio playback file formats: WAV, MP3 formats. USB recording format: WAV format. U disk format: FAT32 format, supporting up to 32G.

Retractable Handle

The shoebox tape player is equipped with a retractable carrying handle at the top. The product measures 10.3" x 5.7" x 2.0", a compact size for easy portability.

Two Power Supply Methods

1. Plug the power adapter (DC 5V/1A) into the 17 "DC socket (5V)" for power supply.

Input : AC 100~240V, 50/60HZ, 0.15A

Output : DC 5V 1A

2. Battery powered.

Recording to Tape Notes:

1. Make sure the tape is placed correctly before recording, otherwise the REC and PLAY buttons cannot be pressed.

2. If the recording button rebounds, press the REC and PLAY buttons firmly and stay for 2 to 3 seconds, and start recording after the buttons are fixed in place.

3. Blank tapes can be recorded directly. For non-blank tapes, please check whether there is a plastic sheet at the bottom of the tape you want to record (recording erasure protection design, please refer to the instructions). If the plastic sheet still exists and has not been peeled off, you can record directly. If the plastic sheet is peeled off, It needs to be covered with scotch tape before it can be re-erased and recorded.

Notice:

When a battery is installed in the battery compartment, plug in the power adapter(DC 5V/1A), and the battery will be automatically disconnected.

Before using the tape, please check whether the magnetic strip in the tape has been wound tightly. If you play the tape without winding it tightly, it may cause the tape to rewind or even damage the tape; so if you find that the magnetic strip in the tape is not wound tightly, please Before placing it in the door, use a pencil or other object to wrap the magnetic strip tightly.

I wanted to save some old cassettes onto Memory Sticks but it failed miserably. I got the record button to light up one only one time then NEVER AGAIN. Steer clear of this one! I have had 2 already to try. NEITHER WORKED! The 2nd one would NEVER even try to light up the record light.

Wanted to have some fun taping ( old school ) with my grandkids and the player was a huge disappointment. Separate purchase of 4 C batteries needed $$$. No instructions included in box. The buttons stick and don't stay down. The whole item was cheaply made. I am returning and the grand kids are sad !!!

Recorder made grinding noises when activated. Took effort for recording keys to stay down. I was never able to record anything but it did chew up two of my cassettes (which are not cheap).
