It sounds very good, but after using it twice, I decided to return it because the door seemed a bit frail. I was afraid with much use I might break it. I'll look for something with a sturdier door. The sound of the player was crisp and clear, and the radio worked very well also. I would recommend this item, but be leery of the door situation.

My daughter loves it! She is obsessed with Stranger Things and all things 80s. It sounds great! Definitely sounds like a vintage Walkman. It’s very durable.

It's a good player, mic's not that good unless your recording your voice, old goodwill cassettes surprisingly work in them, and the radios not bad, but you look like an idiot waving the radio around in the air to get a better signal 🤣, anyway would buy if looking for a cheep one. The go forward button sticks out a little on mine but not bad and it stills works, if your going to record music on cassette's buy one to put it on digitally, but if it's for a podcast or off the radio this works.

The quality of recording/sound on this product is so poor that it's hard to believe this manufacturer is living in the 21st century. The sound quality is right out of the 60's, maybe even the 50's. It actually made me laugh when I first used it. The good news is that it only cost 15bucks. It's probably worth even less than that. However, you can actually record with it, and you can hear the playback. Barely. So, it does do what it says it will. Just really poorly.
