I grew up in the 80's. I know how to operate a cassette player, but this one just doesn't work. I've plugged it in, pushed play...and nothing. The AM and FM radio don't work either. I can't return this because i already threw away the packaging. I'm so disappointed. Waste of money. Don't buy this player.

I picked this up to have something in the garage for playing audiobooks and podcasts without draining my phone's battery. It works perfectly for that. I just load the MP3s on a USB flash drive and plug it in on the left side. The speaker is large enough to produce the volume I need, and the unit is compact enough that it's easy to find a spot to set it up.I haven't recorded a tape in years, but it's fun to see the technology is still available. This does play my old cassettes perfectly. Many radio devices these days only have an FM tuner, so it's nice to have the AM option as well.

This is a fun, nostalgic cassette player with a twist of modern technology. We ordered to have a way to play old cassette tapes of family member’s history to be able to digitize them. This will do the job.The player itself is small. The controls are simple. There’s a sliding button to select the tape, Bluetooth, FM, or AM radio. There are no words on the cassette player buttons so unless you know the symbols (or grew up in the 80s-90s it might be a little confusing. There’s a user manual that does have a labeled diagram of the buttons. There’s a cord to plug in but can also be powered by 4 C batteries.The sounds quality is not great… not that I was expecting it would be. It’s a small speaker but is good enough for small spaces. There’s no bass so sounds is flat.
