I recently had a fall while riding my bike and badly bruised and injured my elbow and knee. First, I made a makeshift wound protector for use in the shower from a plastic bag. But then I found this in the Vine program and it has truly been a godsend. It works perfectly and I used it for almost a month before the wound had healed and I did not have a problem in allowing the wound to get wet.It is a little longer than what would be needed for my height (5-9) and also probably more appropriate for a whole leg cast rather than a typical knee injury. So, one needs to be careful and get a good grip with the bottom of your foot on the shower/tub floor to avoid slipping.
