1. After each use of the pan, brush and clean it with water, then wipe and dry the pot.
2. When not in use for a long time, remember to wipe a thin layer of cooking oil on the inside of the pot.
3. Please do not use detergent and other chemical cleaning agents to clean the cast iron cookware, as it will easily cause rusting.
4. If the pot appears to be rusty, you can brush it with a hard brush or a paillette cloth with salt to remove the rust stains, and then apply a layer of cooking oil.

The small cast iron pot can be placed on your grill (no plastic to melt), so the sauce stays warm. The silicone brush holds a lot of sauce for basting. By keeping the pot on the grill, there is no mess... any drips or drops stay on the grill. It comes with the instructions for prepping the cast iron, and the process is simple. I can recommend.

This is a great melting pot, perfect for the grill. I do a lot of BBQing, and this pot will be a great way to heat up some sauce or melt some cheese. I could also see myself using it to melt chocolate for fondu. I do wish it came with a mop, but it does come with a basting brush, so I guess that’s something. But you get this for the cast iron pot. If you season it and take care of it, then it should last a very long time.
