This is a high quality glove, and that is to be expected from this brand. The materials are top notch and the gel supports are just in the right place. The colors are bright and overall a light weight gloves. Its hardly noticeable when i have it on. It also has a great breathability. My hands did not feel sweaty or hot at all during my rides. The fit on this glove is tight. I am a true size medium and have ordered the same size gloves for a while. However, this one feels tight to me and maybe loosen up once its fully broken in. Additionally, there is no strap as all to loosen when putting this on for the first time. So you will rely on the materials flexibility. I was concerned that i would rip it while putting it on. During my rides, it did not feel like its loose or would fall off at all. Maybe this is the reason why the fit is so tight since there is not a strap to secure it on. So try to size up and get some more breathing room.

I am impressed with the quality of these gloves. They are well made with durable fabrics. The gloves are very minimal in design. There are no wrist straps, which is different, but I didn't mind it. The back of the gloves are very thin and highly breathable. The fabric on the palms is tough and durable enough. The padding is somewhat thin, but it provided the right amount of support. I especially like the padding in the middle lower part of the hand. It makes a difference. The gloves are a tight fit, but I think that might be by design. It was a little hard to get my hand in at first. It's a tight stretch. They aren't quickly removed due to the tightness, but I was able to get them off without too much of a fight. I might recommend ordering a size bigger than usual.I think the gloves are not only comfortable, but they are attractive looking too. I think the design is similar to some of my Gero gloves. I recommend hand washing these. I think they will last a long while. The back of the gloves are vulnerable to snags, so they may be more suited to road riding rather than MTB trails. The price is a little up there. Castelli makes quality stuff, in my experience. So, it is a matter of how much you want to dish out.Overall, I really like the gloves, and the padding and minimalist design are the best things about it. I recommend these to those looking for a nice pair of gloves. I was really glad to snag these, and I wasn't disappointed.

Made my a known brand, Castelli, these glove are made with superb build quality. The gloves are very thin and light, yet the materials feel very durable. They have a clean, minimalist look, and are perfect for longer road rides. The Lycra-like fabric on the back is very breathable, and I forget that I'm even wearing them after a while. The palm is thick and grippy without feeling tacky, and has padding in the right spots to keep my hands from going numb.I ordered based on the size chart, and found the fit to be pretty tight. They are hard to get on and off, but once worn the tightness isn't uncomfortable. The glove stretches quite a bit to reach the desired size. Ordering a size up shouldn't be an issue because of the way it's designed to stretch. Either way, despite how much I fight to get these on, I'm not worried about the fabric or the stitching tearing.

Cycling gloves often come down to two styles, thin racing gloves and bulkier comfort gloves (often with ergo features like gel padding, and more cushioning in the contact points). I would call these a hybrid- racing on top, comfort on the bottom. The glove upper and overall fit is classic high end racing glove. Its tight and a bit hard to get on, especially the first wearing as the fabric stretches a bit. But that keeps the glove smooth and aero. The lower fabric continues this trend, but adds four gel like cushions in the palm. Not the rather thick touring version, but a good amount of cushioning all the way across the top of the palm and under the thumb, center of palm and outside heel of the hand. The result is a good amount of comfort without the bulk and lack of bar feel some touring gloves have.Given this the race uppers, its not a surprise the glove breathes well, critical on a summer glove. And the fabric is smooth when using the glove to wipe sweat off your face.Sizing note, like all high end Euro racing brands, you need to size up.

These biking gloves had promise, at least in their listing and pictures, which I'll sadly never get to test as the sizing is crazy small. I ordered XXL, and they appear to fit like an M. The padding in the palm looks good, and the fabric would be breathable, but one big issue is that the hand insert end is not adjustable - it is a fixed size and I can't even get my hand into the XXL size. Whoever these are designed to fit for would likely be pleased, but I'll never know.

The build quality looks great. My main issue is the sizing. First, there were no sizing charts listed on the Amazon page. So I spent a few minutes searching for glove sizing charts for this brand elsewhere on the web. According to that chart, I should be right in the middle of Large, so I felt safe ordering that size. The gloves just arrived and it was very difficult to put them on and off my hands. I plan to return them and try for the XL size. So if you get these, you'll probably want to go with a size larger than indicated. The description also says "Easy on off wrist closure". But you can see from the photos, there is nothing at the wrist to make it easy. No velcro tab. So you have to stretch the opening to get your hands in the gloves. Maybe with a larger size this would be easier... but even when my hands weren't damp with sweat, it was difficult to take the gloves off. I would imagine that after doing this a few times, the fabric or seam would tear at the wrist.I'm returning these and will see if they'll send me the next size up, and I'll then update the review.
