I’m 6'1" and 180 lbs, and I typically wear a size L in cycling apparel. Given that Castelli tends to run small, I opted for an XL with this jacket. However, while the size chart lists the XL as having a 36.5” waist, the actual measurement is closer to 34.5”. Additionally, the jacket extends to my hips, which are 1.5” larger, making it impossible for me to zip it up. Despite the sizing issues, I appreciate the quality and design of the jacket.

Dopo qualche mese di utilizzo posso dire che è un buon prodotto. Leggerissimo, occupa poco spazio quando ripiegato, ovviamente è una giacca a vento senza pretese (non protegge da freddo o dalla pioggia) ma fa il suo dovere di creare un minimo di barriera per il vento.

I wear a small to medium in jerseys. Their chart suggested I buy a large, so I did. I couldn't get the zipper closed. It was that tight. I assume I might be able to get into a 2xL, but don't want to risk it.

This jacket is great for those chilly mornings that will warm up later. It works well as a wind breaker and packs well into a tight and small bundle. I purchased the XL size. Castelli jackets tends to fit tight in the shoulders for me and I go up a size from their jerseys which I buy in Large.

I'm 5'10 160lbs and Xl fits fine if you're wondering about sizing.So, I have a 10-year old Castelli packable jacket I still wear (black). The fabric is 100% Polyester and super soft, like silk. It breathes really well and is good for cool days. But it's black, doesn't fit great (flaps in the wind) plus I need more visibility now my 6 AM rides start in the dark. First I ordered a Squadra ER Jacket (White) the non-stretch version. The fit wasn't great, as soon I put it on I wanted to take it off! The fabric felt very stiff, like plastic, so I returned it and ordered the Squadra Stretch (Yellow). The fit, with the lycra panels, is great! The fabric is much softer than the White non-stretch ER jacket I returned, but no way near as soft as my old black jacket! I also sweat way more in this new Yellow Squadra jacket, as it severely lacks breathability. It's water-resistant, yes, but so what as I'm wet with sweat. I'm keeping it, to be safer on the road, but I have to take it off as soon there's daylight. Castelli, please use the old silk-like fabric with the lycra panels and you would have the perfect fitting, breathable, lightweight, cool weather jacket!For the comparison and the weight weenies:Castelli old jacket in black 3.9ozCastelli new ER Stretch 4.7ozCastelli new ER non-stretch 5.2oz (won't compress small enough for the back pocket)
