Great pet carrier! It arrives flat and can be made flat again for storage, which is great. It looks really classy. It is paw-printed, so it will not easily do double-duty as a laptop bag or school backpack, but that's not why you're getting it.The holes near the bottom are pretty big. That's great for ventilation, but just be aware that small paws can go right through. It's cute, but I just hope they don't get stuck. We used this as a transport option for our English Angora rabbit. She fit well, with room to spare. She's about 7 pounds (but quite fluffy!) The fuzzy base made her feel comfortable. The leash attachment is not meaningful for her (rabbits don't wear collars) but I can see how it might be useful for a cat or puppy. My one caution is that the pack itself seems a bit heavy at 2.5 pounds (see the fourth photo). That plus a 15-pound pet will be a lot if you're out for a long time. The shoulder straps are really nice though and can easily hold that weight, probably a lot more. Weight-wise, it would be the bottom I'd worry about if your pet is at the far upper end of the recommended weight range. Not the straps, and probably not even the size. It's quite roomy!Overall, really cute, eye-catching carrier for a small dog, regular cat, or large bunny. Nicely constructed. Great that it folds flat for storage.

This is a really nice cat carrier. I have two nice cat carriers that my Vet loves because of the multiple entry points from the top and the sides. However, I might switch and start using this one exclusively. I actually got this one for taking my cat on walks. We live in an area with alligators and so small animals are not something that can safely be walked on the sidewalk and some areas, but my cat loves to go outside and she has a lot of curiosity so I figured this would be really great for her for her to enjoy it. Without the danger. (and she is able to walk around outside. We have an enclosure and chicken walk around the entire pool so she gets to have her outside time but in the safety away from alligators and black bears.)Anyway, I took some close-up photos that I felt were missing in the advertisement and from other reviews of parts that I really wanted to see before I wanted to make this purchase. However, the opportunity arose for me to try this out in exchange for my honest review, so I jumped on the opportunity since I've been looking for a nice backpack cat carrier. So there is a solid flap that goes over the top so if it's raining, you can keep your pet from getting wet, however, you can see in the photo it rolls up nicely and smoothly, and has a snapping strap to hold the water resistant flap in place and out-of-the-way. Then there is the large mesh window that is on the front that kind of comes up at an angle over part of the top and then there's two mesh sides for full breathability as well. I don't understand a lot of these carriers that don't have that airflow because that can be dangerous for a cat if they get overheated. If they start panting. It could already be too late and that's extremely dangerous for them. So this is extremely breathable and in addition to that at the very bottom, there are two holes with nice smooth grommets so there is breathability at the bottom as well. This goes together relatively easily and you can unzip the sides to pack it down flat. It does arrive packed flat. If you're having trouble with the zipper, just twist it over the other side and then it smoothly zips for you. You'll understand when you get it. It does have a nice rigid bottom and rigid wiring for it to keep it shape so it doesn't collapse on the cat. But I also find extremely important. There is also, if you prefer, the ability to attach your cats collar, using a strap with a clip on the inside so if you need to open the carrier in public for any reason, you know that they are protected even if they get spooked they won't get lost. There is also in case you want to just leave the mesh area open for your cat and just have them secured with their harness, a strap that is snapping as well so that it rolls downward into place and holds there neatly. The handle on the top is reinforced with a solid plastic handle that is similar to the handle if not identical to my heavy sound equipment that I take on gigs for weddings and such. So it is a nice heavy duty solid sturdy while also remaining flexible where it needs to. The straps that you put over your arms is really great. They have a light bit of cushion and they have a breathable mesh not only on the straps but also on two places on the back that has a little bit of cushion as well, so that there's that breathability aspect. That way you know your cat is gonna get easily overheated. It also has a secure strap for the bus so that you can take some of that pressure off your back as well. I wear this around my front so that I can pay attention to my kitties needs a little easier than if she is behind me. And I find it really nice. This is exactly the kind of kitty backpack that I've been in search of for the last five years almost. I'm pretty picky though so there's that. There's also four mesh pockets two on each side for you to put in your phone, collapsible water and food dish, water bottles and such so that you and kitty can stay hydrated as well. This is super roomy. My cat is on the larger side and she's got plenty of space to curl up at the bottom if she likes. There's also enough room if you have two kitties that like to sit and stare out that you could put two in here at the same time, however, if they got tired and wanted to lay down, there's not really enough room for two cats to lay down, but again you have two cats that really enjoy the outdoors together. You could sit both of them in here comfortably if they tend to sit upright on their walks anyways.I feel like this is a super functional backpack for cats that could be used for going to and from the vet as well as outdoor walks and such. And is affordably priced as well.I do recommend this cat carrier backpack for cats of multiple sizes (again, mine is a pretty large cat) as well as small dogs and puppies. Especially if you live in areas where an alligator can jump out on your path.

I love these backpack carriers for my cats! I already had a very similar one for my girl kitty and then we rescued our boy last year and bought a different style for him. I see pros and cons to both styles but overall I like the backpack ones best. You can use this laying down so they have plenty of room to stretch out, then of course in the upright position so they can see more and stand up better. This is designed to be worn on the back, but it's very easy to loop your arms through and front carry too. I love that this one also comes with a handle to carry it like a regular carrier. I had to rig something up on my other one to do that. The way that this opens on all sides is great for easy access, and also allows for it to be folded flat for storage. All of the pockets are great too. I love that this comes with a full cover in front but also a screen. Great for blocking the sun when they are in the car seat (I purchased a baby seat cover for the other one to do that). The mesh screen is very sturdy and able to stand up to unhappy kitties that want to escape. Lots of ventilation, unlike the bubble carriers. It's appearance is very nice too. I got the gray one and it looks very classy. The outer material is durable and I love that it's waterproof. I am very happy with the design and quality of this carrier and recommend!
