My 15 pound Norwegian Forest Cat + his double fluff LOVES this bed. It came folded in two with shrink wrap, but out of the wrapping, it unfolded and lay flat. I barely got the scratch pad laid down and the faux fur pad in place before it was occupied. My other 20+ pounder, a former street cat turned indoor only comfort seeker, kept an eye out for a chance to try it, and now, I have yet to see the bed empty. They love that the low wall is just the right height to rest their chins on. They haven't tried to scratch the fabric, and it doesn't seem to attract cat fur (a big, huge plus with long-haired cats). The stitching looks secure, and it's crafted to be sturdy.The bottom is flat, so this works on all types of flooring, plus deep shelves/counters/desks, etc. The color is a muted blue/grey.

This item is 3 separate pieces and I don't understand how the plastic feeling "scratcher" piece would work properly because it's not attached to anything. The blue and grey toned, round cotton rope bed is nice looking and the shape and size is very cat appropriate and cat approved. The puffy mattress piece is covered on one side with a cat printed thick polyester fabric and the other side is a grey fluffy fleece material and it can be used separately too. My bigger cat prefers this bed to be empty and seems to appreciate the shorter sides that it has. Other than the weird separate scratcher piece, this cat bed is great.

This is a super cute little cat bed. And I do mean little. Fortunately, my 8-year old cat is able to fit inside and she likes the smallness. I was hoping it would be a little bigger, but if she likes it, I'm a happy camper.

I have two cats with very different personalities, likes and dislikes. Both of them give a thumbs up for this little bed. It's the perfect size and they select it over other sleeping or resting options. So I got two of them.

I have a very old (14 years), very cranky black tabby. As she's gotten older, she tolerates the younger cats less and less. With the addition of the new kitten, she had enough and found her way up onto a shelf that she refused to leave, so my daughter and I built a shelf run all the way around the room, complete with a litterbox, food bowl, water fountain, and heated pet pad for her to sleep on. She comes down for pets here and there, but goes back up to sleep and eat. What we didn't have for her was a proper bed and she didn't like the basket we offered so I thought I'd try this. She sniffed it, climbed in, and hasn't left it much except to cat around the shelf run, and jump onto my daughter's bed for love. She's a smaller cat, about 8 pounds, so she has plenty of room to curl up or stretch out in the bed. I have another cat who is 17 pounds (part Savannah and Maine Coon) who could fit into it as well if he really wanted, but he's so long that he might spill out. That said, for a small or average-sized cat, this is a great little bed and I love that it's made from cotton rope. While I know cotton taxes the environment to an extent, I hate the idea of buying my cat a plastic bed that will be stuck in the ground somewhere long after she's gone. So, definitely five stars for this cat bed. It's great!
