Sturdy, but potentially dangerous!This hammock is very cute and my cat loves lounging on it. However, my cat is also a rambunctious young man who likes to climb and perform acrobatics. Despite my warnings, he was trying to climb to the very top when it swung and twisted around his paw and neck, nearly hanging him. Luckily, I was there to untangle him. So if you have an energetic daredevil cat like mine, you may want to only use under supervision or just skip this purchase all together.Even after all the swinging and abuse the hammock has endured, it’s still holding up nicely. One of the strings broke but that’s because my cat chewed through it like a rat.This hammock may be better for decor and displaying plants or something that can’t get tangled and get itself into trouble!

My 13 yr old cat loves this; I’m so happy she does! I thought she might have trouble walking into it since she has arthritis but nope! She’s been hopping from the chair to it all day! The only weird thing is it smells a little like mold? I put some freshener on it so it’s some better, and hopefully it’s air out in the next few days!

Love this! I ended up dying it so it didn’t get dirty with all the kitty paws on and off of it. Will be putting an ivory pillow in it :)

My kitten loves it!! He weighs around 10lbs. Sleeps in it all day. Easy to hang anywhere. Ready to use right out the box.

When I first received in the mail, I was a little shocked by how big it was. After hanging it up, however, it was perfect. It doesn't come with a pillow so I stuck my own in there and my cat adores it. She sits on it to sleep and to look out the window. I like it because it fits my bohemian style. It is far from an eyesore to say the least. It took awhile for my cat to start using it, but once I put one of my own pillows in it she started using it very frequently. I suggest taking something that your cat already likes to sit on and stick it on the bottom. The actual hammock is very sturdy and I only have it hanging from one nail and it hasn't fallen off or anything. My cat is about 7 pounds and the pillow has added a few too. Even with the weight, it still hangs great!

It took my cat a little while to figure out what it was but once placed in a sunny spot with a fuzzy blanket she sleeps in it all the time! I was worried about the durability but she is 11.5 lbs and it has no problem supporting her.
