Cheap material but for the price it’s pretty good. Plenty of room for my puppy.

This is a pet carrier backpack in beige with brown trim, from Hriytef. It arrives flat and you need to sort of open it up, and you also need to connect the bottom backpack straps to the top backpack straps, which is not difficult. The backpack also comes with a semi-rigid piece to put at the bottom, which seems like it's too big but if you zip it up with it in there and then open the window or the side and push it into place, it does fit perfectly. This backpack does seem well constructed and sturdy enough as long as you don't have a pet who will claw too much in there. The mesh on the sides is of good quality. The storage pocket is handy. The handle on top is sturdy and comfortable to hold. The backpack is comfortable to wear, even with a cat inside. I do have some concerns, however. First, the one I received does NOT have the built-in safety leash as described in the product listing. This is a good feature to have and I wish it actually had it. The other issue is that the zippers seem really sketchy. They are not the same as the zippers that are pictured in the product listing, the zipper handles don't have the same shape and don't have the dangly things on the ends. The only place there is a double zipper is the biggest backpack opening where you can unzip the whole front. The zippers on the window and the side mesh door are single zippers. On arrival, the zipper handles were roughly in the middle of the zipper, and yet the zipper was zipped on either side of the handle. In that position the zipper to one side of the handle should've been unzipped, and the other side zipped. I ran the zipper handle all the way to one end and the entire zipper was then zipped. Once I did that on both the window zipper and the side zipper, they functioned normally, unzipping when I move the handle one way, and zipping when I move the handle the other way. Nevertheless, the way they were upon arrival makes me concerned they could just pop open if my cat moved around too much. On a test run inside my house though, they did remain zipped. Finally, it should be noted that this carrier is really small. I tested it with two different cats, both very petite and under 8 lbs. I think this carrier could probably hold a cat or very small dog up to about 10 lbs, but probably not much more. It's not so much about the pet's weight as it is their size though. The cat in my photo is very, very small and as you can see she doesn't have a whole lot of room in there. I do think this is a pretty good backpack carrier, as long as you're not expecting to put a big cat in it, and as long as you're very careful to check all of the zippers. I do not think this is suited for heavy use or daily use, but it is good for quick trips to the vet and such.

I really appreciate how roomy this cat carrier is! I am able to fit two 3 month kittens in there at the same time with room to spare. The window is a sort of un-scratchable clear plastic so it’s not easily worn down by my little rascals on the inside. I like the material thickness and weight. Overall, it’s a pretty high quality carrier.
