This TSA approved (depends which company you fly with. This was only .5 inch over the limit for JetBlue but was approved anyway) carrier was just BARELY enough for our fat round 16 pounds ragamuffin. However, it worked well enough that he seemed comfortable with his familiar blanky in there. He didn’t meow or fuss about and the flight went smoothly. This carrier seems to be made of durable and breathable material and the litter box attached is a nice touch though there’s no room for it for our large cat to share with.I’d recommend.

First this took a long time to arrive. I set this up on my lawn to see if my cat would like it. Yes, it came folded, and doesn’t seem to take up much space when folded. It was easy to unfold, though I did experience cloth continuously getting stuck on one of the zippers. The down side of folding is there’s very little support in to keep this to its full proportions. The only stable pieces, that are helping to keep the shape, is a thin metal bar that surrounds the front, and back openings. The side piece that folds out, isn’t supported by anything to keep its shape. It simply zips to unfold, with no stability. If putting the travel litter box in, as that’s foldable as well, I doubt that, that is going to support the shape. To me that’s a huge issue. While the surrounding netting does seem nice, and airy; the holes are too large, and the netting isn’t that strong. My cat Cubby went in, laid down, did a stretch, and caught his nail in the net. He pulled, before I could get his paw, and now there’s a small slice in the net. I can’t imagine what would have happened if he was in the backseat, and I was driving.I’m not sure there’s enough support in the carrier, or the netting, to keep a cat contained, if a cat was truly upset, and putting up a fight. There’s a lot of openings all four sides, and top with nylon zippers, and metal tags for closure. I’m not comfortable in even having this function as a hideaway cubby, due to the netting. Too many weak features in the design to transport, and use freely. There’s much better carriers out there, that are functionable, and durable.

I received this product in exchange for an honest review through the amazon vine program. This is a very cool cat carrier. It arrived on time and was packaged well for transit. It comes all zipped up in a very small package, but when you open it you can see how big it is.It has an extra section where you can put a small litter box for long trips with you cat or use the space for multiple cats I guess. The zipper looks like a quality zipper and there are no defects with the zipper or fabric. It looks like it is a secure carrier for your cat. The carrier material feels like it is of a good quality. There is no chemical smell.I have not needed to clean it yet so I cannot comment on ease of cleaning but it looks like accidents can be cleaner up easily. That said, I am not sure I would pay much more than $50 for it.It looks like it is on sale right now for $49.99 and I think that is a fair price.

This is such a ncie cat carrier. I put it out and let my cats get used to it. My 16 pound cat fits in it comfortably and my 10 lb cat also liked the roominess. The liter pan area is a bit small but if your going a long distance is better than nothing. It's also plastic lined so you don't have to worry about leaks. Since it's plastic it's also easy to wipe down and clean out. The sides have nice mesh so the animal can see out. The bottom has a hard ish liner to keep it more stable and the straps are nice and thick with sturdy metal hook and loops. The zipper is plastic with a metal zipper pull. All of the sides fold down nicely for easy of storage so it doesn't take up a lot of space like traditional carriers would. It is a nice storm cloud gray as I would call it. The strap also has a padded part for your shoulder. Overall it looks well made and sturdy. I can't wait to try it out when I take my kiddos to the vet.

This cat carrier is really handy for road trips. Be aware, it is NOT airline approved, so don't try to take it on a plane, but for car or train travel, it's great. When zipped up completely, it looks like a conventional cat carrier, with a shoulder strap and handles. It opens from the top and one end.It pops out on one side to almost double its size, which is really nice for a cat to be able to relax and stretch out a bit on a trip. The material and stitching are decent but not premium. That said, I think this will last a long while, and it's definitely strong and sturdy enough to keep a cat securely inside. The zippers are strong and work well. There is decent ventilation from two sides, and the top access has the ability to roll back the fabric, leaving a strong mesh layer zippered in place for more ventilation. When the side is popped out, there is really generous air movement, as the pop-out is mostly that strong mesh fabric. The pop-out also has a side that zips open for the cat to exit, if you want. The included litter box is far too small for anything other than a kitten, and it's a little tall for a baby cat. I don't plan to use it. Unless you're transporting a very small cat, it's not realistic to ask them to use a litter box inside this carrier. You need a medium-size dog crate or something like that. I strongly recommend getting a disposable litter box or something similar. The fabric food dish, conversely, is huge. It's more like a dog bowl. You can use it, but I wouldn't, not in this carrier, at least. You're going to dump cups worth of kibble into it in order to get it to a decent level. You're better off with a paper bowl or a collapsable pet bowl. All that said, I really like this carrier, and that it lets me take one of my kitties on a trip without being bunched into a conventional carrier for hours and hours.
