Cat loves it, does a good job of getting her winter coat out, colors are nice and solid hand feel. So far I haven't had any issues with it.

I used this brush on my Maltipoo, Suki - who usually isn't a fan of grooming, and surprisingly, she let me comb her without any drama. That alone earns a star.The brush has fine, close-set bristles that work well with softer, non-shedding hair types like hers. Even though she doesn't shed in the traditional sense, the brush still managed to pull out a decent amount of loose hair, which was super satisfying.The self-cleaning feature is clever and does work, but here’s the catch: it’s more effective when there’s a good amount of hair on the bristles. If there’s only a small amount, the mechanism doesn’t push it off quite as well - you might still have to give it a bit of help. Still, it beats picking the fur out with your fingers.I also appreciated the longer handle - it gives better control and makes brushing less awkward. Overall, I’d recommend this for small pets with finer hair. If you have a larger dog or one with a thick double coat, this probably isn’t the tool for you.

My cats would give five stars. They hate being brushed and we have only tried traditional cat brushes. They’re too pokey and aggressive for them. This product is much more soothing. If they have to be brushed, this is the brush they would choose.As a pet mom, I would give this three stars. The product looks exactly as pictured in the product listing. However, other brushes I have used in the past brushed out hair more effectively than this product. This product is more like a comb. It’s gentle on my babies, but I feel like I’m meeting in the middle because it doesn’t quite get everything a regular brush would.I LOVE the self cleaning ability. I have poked myself so many times trying to clean out other brushes. It’s also nice that my cats don’t mind this brush, so they don’t try to run away when I use it.Of course, the comfort of my cats comes first so I will continue using this brush over other brushes.
