Not large enough to keep cat from licking front legs. My cat has a wound on his front leg and he keeps chewing at the bandages and making it worse. I was hoping for something that would provide him more visibility but the ring on this would need to be a couple inches further out. Within minutes he'd figured out how to pop the edge back against his chest and was eagerly licking at his wounded front leg. He is a medium size cat around 8-10lbs in size. I suspect this cone would've worked if his wound had been pretty much anywhere else.

This is so much better than a cone. My cat can eat and drink with no problem sometimes sleeping can be a challenge bc it does not bend but I will love it. I will move it out the way for her and she sleeps great.

Does let the cat drink but doesn't stop my cat from licking her tail which is what I need her to not lick. It is soft. Allows her to see more to the sides but not in front of her. It's too small to block all parts of my cat.

It works! not bad for the price. However it is NOT truly waterproof. It’s sort of a windbreaker material. So it can absorb water, just not much.

I have a kitty with hairball issues (three surgeries because his body is unable to cough them back up) and he licks constantly. This collar is light weight and sturdy enough for him to ware comfortably as he needs to have it on all the time. He is in it unless I am home to watch him so they do tend to get worn out after a couple of months but they do what needs to be done to keep him healthy and the price is right.
