Super great for super small kitten (4 months or younger) in XS size. I bought a few others that claimed XS or S that were too big at the time for my kitten.

I got this for my 1 year-old kitten. The days are getting warmer and it’s time he learns he’s allowed outside but only on a leash. I have a harness and a bungee leash but he’s a wiggle-worm and I have a hard time putting the strappy harness on him. This little vest-type harness seems to be a better choice—two leg holes and a buckle after securing a Velcro strap. Easy!Is it escape proof? Maybe, but I have a lot more faith in this style than I have in the strappy kind. I have yet to have him panic and try to run while wearing this harness, but if he does it will be more difficult for him to get out and there’s less chance of him hurting himself. I like the clip and the double D-ring closure for the extra security. Cats panic and bolt unexpectedly sometimes. It’s best that they’re as secure as possible.Pay attention to the sizing on this harness. It runs really really small. MEASURE YOUR CAT (Disclaimer: I didn’t measure my cat I just ordered the largest one). My kitten is only 9 1/2 pounds and I ordered the small which is the largest size offered for this item at the time of his review. He’s not going to be able to wear this harness for long. He’ll grow out of it before he achieves his final form. It definitely won’t fit my adult female cat and she’s about 14 pounds.Does my kitten like the harness? No. Not really. He’d rather run free but that’s not going to happen. He looks pretty dapper wearing it though!

Fit my new 3 lb kitten great. Easy to put on, did not bother him at all. Unfortunately, he out grew it quickly, but kept him safe when we wanted yo take him outside.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well nanappice's Escape Proof Cat Harness and Leash worked in training my kitten to properly walk while using this product! Packed with features galore, here are my favorite:- With 3 different designs to choose from and multiple sizes to accommodate whatever size fur-baby you have to ensure a comfortable fit.- There is no discomfort had by my kitten when training him with this harness/leash because it straps on from the back, allowing the neck to not feel any type of physical strain that could cause injury.- For receiving both a harness AND leash for a very low-price, that makes this product worth it in itself!Thoroughly surprised and happy by how well this combo set worked in training my cat effectively how to walk outside and not escape! Designed with efficacy and style, I without a doubt recommend this item 100%!

I decided to try this on my 7 month old persian kitten and ordered a size xsmall. It did fit him but it was tight enough for him not to escape. This would have been a great harness if it didn't come used and dirty. We are sending it back and ordering a size small instead to see if that size is more appropriate for him. Please check your products before sending them out to loyal Amazon customers. We'd appreciate the extra steps in making sure our products are not damaged.

Got this for our guy who always sits at the window and begs to go outside. Figured we could take him out with us for walks when we get home, and use it for trips to the vet as he's outgrown the cat carriers. The harness itself is great. Velcro makes it easy to open/close and slip on and off fast. Then it also secures shut with a buckle, and then also two metal loops that get held together by the leash. As long as the harness is the right size (not too big), then the cat can't get out of it.The downside is - well, it goes on a cat. In our case, a stubborn cat that doesn't like it. When I put it on, he just flops over and refuses to move. I haven't taken him outside in it yet, I've just put it on a few times for him to get used to wearing it. I think once he's outside he'll beg to put it on!
