I was excited when I saw how pretty this harness was, but once I attempted to put it on my cat, I was disappointed. The chest strap works well because you only have to adjust it once and then you can use the clip to put it on and take it off. the neck strap is completely different and very annoying. It does not have a clip so you have to make it wider each time you put it on, and then tighten it once it is on, which is nearly impossible on a kitten! I have already ordered another harness as this one is just a waste of time and very frustrating.

I purchased for my 20 month old Main Coon cat. However small is too small for her. I think a medium would work. However, the company states specifically on the package they have hassle-free returns so that’s something to know. The product is really good quality and what you would find at a quality pet store. Also, there is a seat belt adapter as a bonus so if you are taking a small dog in your car, this attaches to the harness to safely keep them in the seat. I also tried this on my four pound Chihuahua. I tried to get a picture of her with the harness so you could compare size and the harness is also too small for my chihuahua. So my recommendation for this is that it a high quality harness and to order up in size. If, after you order it and it’s too small, you know it can be exchanged for the right size.

I’ve tried several different cat harnesses over the years. The biggest problem is that most cats can wiggle free from them if you are not careful. I like that you can adjust the collar and chest straps independently, and you can detach the collar section and keep it on the pet if you like. I also like the seatbelt attachment although I have not tried it out yet… it’s’ a good option for anyone transporting their cat. Overall a good device.

This harness will work for cats or small dogs. The harness is fully adjustable. The neck area adjusts, the chest area adjusts, and the space between the neck and chest asjusts.The bell, the leash, and the seat belt lead are all separate from the harness itself.The box the harness set comes in has instructions for measuring your pet and how to put the harness on your pet.The strapping of the harness, the leash, and the seat belt hook is very soft and supple.I chose the size "medium" and the color "Sky Blue." The strapping is more of an ombre color that is blue, Aqua and purple.The leash is approximately 59 1/4" in length from the top edge of the handle loop to the end of the clip that attaches to the harness.For all the parts that come with this set, it is a great value for less than $13.00.

Good harness for kitten/cat. Adjustable at the chest/waist with clip closure. Around the neck you’ll need to adjust manually each time without having the ability to click open/close a clip. Please take note of that before ordering because if that will be an issue for you, then do not order. Again, there is no clasp on the neck and you need to manually adjust each and every single time. There are pros and cons to this style so you can decide if this is something that will work best for you and your kitty. I suggest getting your kitten used to a harness as early as possible. Start slow and introduce them to it often in small increments. Practice wearing it for a few seconds and increase the time to a few minutes while inside the house before you ever take them outside. Make sure they are comfortable with wearing it and walking around before taking them outside and it can be a really good experience for them overall. The harness is well made and has extra pieces to use in the car as a seatbelt which I would need to explore more but I appreciate having the option.
