This is a great quality harness. It seems comfortable on my cat. I wouldn't say it is completely escape proof as she pulled backwards out of it when she got scared. Make sure to secure it tightly and if your cat tries to pull out of it backwards, move towards them so they don't get out. Once she got used to it, though, it worked great. We took her hiking in it, and she did great! Good value for the money. The leash to me is the perfect length for walking a cat, not too short but not long either.

Love this. My cat never adjusted to the wider, velcro one but this one, she is doing great with because it's not so binding. My 9 month old kitten will now let me put it on her without a fight. Just make sure you have the correct tightness set if you have a frisky kitten who is afraid of everything and sometimes bolts for the door.

We have two large cats who are harness and leash trained. The first thing to know is that no harness is escape proof, especially if the cat is scared by something. These harnesses come closer than most others in keeping our cats confined. The key is to make sure the band around the chest is tight enough the cat cannot back out of the harness.Our larger cat is about 16 pounds and based on appearance, we believe he is part Maine Coon. He has lots of fur and is very solidly built under all that fur. He wears a colorful rainbow colored harness.Our younger cat is 9 months old and long and lean in appearance. He wears the King of the Jungle color with pride.Most of the time, we use longer leads for the cats when they are outside in the backyard. We do have the leads separated so that the cats will not chase or wrestle each other and tangle the leads. If we take them in the car, we use the leashes so that they don't escape when we open a car door or window.We use these harnesses to take our cats camping. Well, truthfully, only the older cat has been camping. The younger cat will learn the joys of exploring a new campsite every few days starting this summer. Anytime we are moving the cats from the camper to the truck or taking them with us as we go on hikes or aound the campgorund, we use the leases.All in all, I give these a 5 claws up rating and will return to buy more. I like to have an extra harness per cat just in case one breaks.

These are purrfect for our 2 Jr cats, 6 pound and 8 pounds. The harnesses are almost at their smallest setting, giving plenty of adjustment for growth. We have been using these for several days, numerous hours at a time, and they have not escaped them as they have with other harnesses. These are light weight and the cats don't seem to mind them. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a harness for a cat on the smaller side.

Bought 2 and these work so well! My cats love them. We had a scare where we thought the kitties were going to “back out” of the harness and escape but these are truly escape proof!

I love it! Super cute and colorful and works for my big kitty. She tends to "stop working" when she has a harness on and just falls over, but she does okay in this one! She only struggled a little the first time, so I have high hopes she will get used to this one and we can go outside more often. She LOVES being outside.

Im sad and so is my cat. We are absolutely in love with this color. But.. the back length is too short.It is only 3 inches long. I compared it to the one she grew out of that is 4 inches long. My Tabby cat is 1 year old and 10 lbs. I thought she was petite. We're deciding if we should cut off this one and use her old one, but my little Stinker said she's embarrassed to go outside like that.

This harness is perfect. My 12 pound Bengal hasn't been able to back himself out of it as the neck and chest area are both adjustable to a more precise degree than other harnesses I've used. It's also lightweight and a smooth material that doesn't bother the cat (if your cat is anything like mine they act like it's the end of the world wearing a harness that covers more).The lead has a large, sturdy, clasp to attach it to the D ring on the harness itself, and it's perfectly easy to open and close for those who may have lower mobility in their hands, in that same vein the closure clips on the harness itself are easy to do and undo while not being too worrisome that the cat will just pull out of them (mine is a puller the second we step out the door and they stayed firmly clasped). They seem to be breakaway clips as well if your pet gets into a situation where that's needed (hopefully I never have to test that though).This harness is absolutely worth it, it's safe, lightweight, comfortable, and best of all my furry friend can't slide out backwards or forward.
