Doesn't come with all the screws you need for assembly. You need 22 D screws and it lists only 14 come in the kit. Assembly was easy and looks nice but can't attach the pieces to keep the back secure without those screws

The directions say you need a screwdriver and should not use a drill but you definitely need a drill. There was so much hardware and the directions were very long. I ended up hiring a taskrabbit to assemble it. It came with defective parts- specifically the hardware that opens and closes the door. It was a metal piece that was deformed. The quality is not so good- particle board, but it was the perfect size for me and it looks cute. There's no way for me to return the item because I got halfway through assembly before finding defective parts and there's also no way to get product support for a new piece.

Very small!! I have a normal size litter box with the lid and my cat can’t get into if the lid is on and in the cabinet. He’s a 4 lb kitten and an aggressive digger and needs the lid to keep the litter from flying around. This is useless. I’d return it if we had not of already put it together, only to find out that it is not compatible with a litter box with a lid. The back board is very flimsy.

This was easy to assemble & the mid century modern design is purrrrfect for our lanai in our Florida condo. No issues and helps contain odors but I do clean every morning.

I have this in my laundry room. It looks great and my cats love it too. It's so much better that an open litter box.

I got this litter box cabinet in the hopes that I could get my cats to actually use it, and therefore have three litter boxes instead of only two, which I have to clean constantly unless I want to deal with an “accident” (it’s never an accident). I only have a couple places that are convenient for litter boxes — though “convenient” is a stretch — and haven’t been able to figure out where I could put a third. This cabinet thing effectively hides the litter box so I can put it places I otherwise wouldn’t consider.Assembly was not especially difficult as far as following the directions, but it was a pain and somewhat time-consuming. It doesn’t want you to use power tools, and you’ll have to supply your own screwdriver. The holes are not predrilled, just indicated by little dots cut out of the plastic coating, and some of those were not properly cut out, either. And there’s lots of little pieces. So it takes some time and some hand strength to get it all together, and as someone dealing with a bit of joint trouble, it wasn’t the greatest experience assembling furniture. But know what you’re getting into, and with some patience, I don’t expect most people to have serious problems with this.As for the cabinet once assembled, it seems to be best suited for smaller cats, especially if you want to put the cardboard scratch pad in there. The archway to get into the litter box side isn’t tall enough for a lot of litter boxes which have higher sides to keep the litter in, so I’d be aware of the measurements and make sure you have a litter box that actually fits. The archway is just shy of 12”without the scratcher, and a lot of litter boxes have 5-6”sides — leaving a pretty small gap to climb through. This is what makes me think it’s better for smaller cats, or else you have to get an especially low-sided litter box (I’m trying to use a Van Ness “large high sided litter box with frame” which will hopefully work, since the front has a lower entry). I think this would be a better/more versatile product if they increased the depth an inch or two (for wider boxes), and raised the arch a few more inches.Other than that, note that this is black. Some of the mock-up product images seem to show a more dark charcoal gray matte “black”, but this is shiny true black with a slight texture. I would’ve preferred gray or even white, but it’s not bad. The legs are pale wood with rounded plastic feet and look pretty nice. The hardboard backing could be a little thicker, but as long as it’s against a wall, it should be fine. Overall, I think this is a pretty good value. Even better if I can get my cats to use it!
