Cats immediately liked the scratcher. Works well for large breeds and one of our cats is a tripod too. We lay it with the long way down and he goes to town with no issue.We stuck in front of some blinds they would mess with and thankfully they leave them alone and use this now.Will be buying more/replacements materials in the future.

My cat uses everyday. Gets a little messy from cardboard shredding.its sturdy if put against a wall. And easy to put together.

My cats are enjoying it and it holds up decent for just another cardboard scratcher. I like the grove for the ball that was supposed to come with it, however, did not. Instead of a ball, I received a pompom... Disappointed, luckily I have several balls from my son's old toys and just snagged one to place it in the scratcher as I assembled it. The product was not used and did not look tampered with, but it appears that maybe in the manufacturing the wrong item( a pompom instead of a ball) was placed in, other than that I have no complaints.

I have purchased many of these. My cat loves them. I just wish there was some way to flip the pieces while keeping the L shape to really use all the useful sides. My cat is uninterested when you flip it to the “slide” shape. Feels a bit like a waste for the price. Maybe make refills so you don’t have to buy the whole thing each time?

This is a great cat scratcher and has kept the cats from destroying my furniture. It requires a small amount of assembly, but it easy. It is a good size, too. It comes with some loose cat nip and that works great to get the cats to use the scratcher immediately. There's a small ball that fits in between the upright and horizontal pieces, so it's a game, too. I place it with the upright portion against the back of my furniture so it's right where they want to scratch. Win!I definitely recommend this item.
