Our cats chew on these, scratch them and sleep on them. I haven't tried mounting on the wall yet but, our 4 cats love them.

I guess I'm in the minority here. My cats like to lay on the mats, but they don't use them as they have cardboard scratchers. That was my hope but no dice. They're disinterested in anything but laying on them.

My cat loves these. It must feel really good on his paws because he uses it often. I got two so there’s one in the living area, one in the bedroom. I also ordered a catnip spray. I spritz it on the pad as well as the play ball And he’s having lots of fun. He even just lays on it to relax and sleep.
