This Cat Steam Brush by LACOKI works well on my 11-pound cats, but it's a little too bulky for my 8-pound cat. I can get her back and flanks, but it doesn't work well around her neck and scruff. It's also a little difficult to get all the shed hair off the brush, even with the retractable bristles.

This allows the user to easily find a different charging cord if the one comes with it is lost, preventing more waste in the landfill. The small window showing the water level of the water tank makes it so much easier for the user to know when more water needs to be added for steaming purposes. When it comes to performance itself I was able to get some hair after just a few strokes of my cat.

So I have eight cats. 8 cats. I am uniquely qualified to review this item. When I tell you that it works I can tell you with confidence because I have eight cats and grooming cats is usually an exercise in futility however I groomed seven of my cats in an hour and 20 minutes with this thing and they actually sat for it. Miracle of miracles.So what comes out of it is not actually steam; It's a mist. It's cold but it's also quite fine so your cat isn't going to get really wet when you are doing this It will get marginally damp it. It took me about 3 or 4 minutes to do five or six passes over each of my cats and from that I was able to remove at least a large ball of hair and my cat's actually enjoyed it. They just sat there. I had no issue with grooming them until I tried to groom their bellies and usually cats don't like that anyway.The fur in the picture was from two cats and that was from the first pass on each cat so that's how much for I got from just doing the back of each cat and these cats are groomed every other day with my normal brush. The results were a lot better than the normal brush I use and I can only think that's because there wasn't fur flying everywhere and because of the water it was actually staying in the brush.That was actually another thing that was great. When I was brushing the cats there was no cloud of fur around them. The fur was largely getting contained in the brush because it was slightly damp and traveling with the brush. Usually when I brush my cats there's fur flying. With this at the end I had a minimal amount of fur on my shirt. Usually I'm covered. After brushing six of the eight cats I didn't actually need to change my shirt; I just used slint roller.I haven't used this on my Maine Coon yet. I think it will be a challenge on him but I don't think it will actually be that bad. I'm just going to wait until I have a full charge on the brush. It's rechargeable And I actually love that so much. I only had to refill the water once when I was brushing the seven cats and that was actually pretty great also. It comes with a tiny bottle so you know exactly how much water to put in and the bottle has a tapered tip so you can't miss.I think this is a great product and I'll be using it with my cats and I'll probably get one for my friend who has cats also.

My cats really seem to enjoy this pet brush. They like having their coats brushed, and I like not having shedding cat hair all over my clothes and furniture. I like that this brush has a container that holds water so that I can mist any particularly sticky gunk on my cats hair and brush it out more easily. What I like even more than the mister is that I don't have to do anything more than press a button to clean the hair out of this brush, and this feature makes this brush a breeze to clean and use. This brush works well and I wouldn't hesitate to order a second one if I need to do so.

My cat hates to be brushed. This freaked her out at the beginning too, by the third time she was turning herself to be brushed. It actually gets a lot of the hair not like other brushes that barely take anything off. The button to push the hair out is also super convenient. (The picture is a hairball after the 3rd time I brushed my cat)
