I ordered this cat tower for my small cat (under 6 pounds) and he likes it, especially the small scratching posts that are just right for him. The tower has shelves and a hammock bed, and a cubby that are all the right size for him. Of course, he went straight to the top and quickly realized he could not get back down, and protested loudly. The next to top shelf should be a little longer or maybe wider, in order to give room to step back down because that's an unsafe height for our senior (and kittens too) to try and jump from the top. I placed his other cat furniture around it to block him from jumping, and to give him other places to step onto, and finally to prevent it from tipping over. The anti-tipping strap is actually too long to be useful, so I used one that I already had to secure it right to the wall. The build quality is excellent and everything lined up perfectly, and it does not feel or look cheap. I got the smoky gray color and it looks great in the space. It was very easy to assemble, thanks to the instruction booklet. It is a steal compared to some of the other cat towers that are so flimsy. This one will last and it is definitely worth it.

We are not sure why our 8lb kitty. When she gets on the middle bed. It topples over.We moved that bed over by scratchin pad to balance some to.She seems to like it otherwise. 😸

This is the perfect height, sturdy and my car loves it. The only thing I'd ding it for is it's a bit hard for him to get to the top shelf because it's stacked directly over the shelf underneath it. He lives the scratch pad but doesn't use the circle hammock

I've seen a fair number of cat trees advertised but don't specify they are for kittens or small cats. This cat tree is listed correctly, specifying it is for smaller cats/kittens.Item is packaged well, with boards marked with a stamped letter (i.e. 'A', 'B', etc.) which corresponds with the instructions. Instructions are both well illustrated and written (a nice change). A hex wrench is included, no other tools are needed. Assembly was easy, simply follow the illustrated steps. Assembly maybe took 15 minutes. Extra hardware was included.Interestingly, a screw and a strap are included if you want to attach it to a wall.Our cat is on the larger size (14lbs), and indeed the cat tree is probably not well suited well for him. But as mentioned above, the vendor states this is for smaller cats - so no misleading there.I do want to mention the offset platform: There is the possibility of the tree tipping over with a larger cat. Something to consider if you have multiple cats in the house that are larger. I suppose one could just not install the platform if that is a concern.

Too light weight topples easily. Probably actually made for kittens. Average size cat can fit but not comfortable. Nice design though stylish. Not a total disappointment just buyer beware on your cat size
