I put this tackle kit to the test by using it at Santee (lake marion) to catch some of the famous Santee catfish. I would say it did it's job because I was the only one who caught catfish. I never broke a line or rig, and I was able to snag a few nice size cats from the dock. I used other pieces from the kit for pan fishing with a cork and cricket and had luck as well. Definitely some nice items to add to your tackle box if you plan to go catfishing.
