Our brackets are a simple way to mount your CB Antenna or ATV sized whip flag on the rear of your truck using pre-installed rivet nuts and a support plate. This location provides a clean aerodynamic look and allows for an easy accessible location for a quick installation and disconnect of your CB Antenna. Each mount is evenly powder coated with a matte hammer black finish. Made in the USA, we use high grade steel for our mounts. The CB Mount is easy to install and is compatible with 2005-2015, 2nd Generation Toyota Tacoma models. Please Note: Larger whip flags my slowly bend the bracket over time. These are best suited for ATV/UTV sized whip flags only.

The mount is easy to install, I did tweak it with a cresent wrench once mounted for clearance of tail gate. Just adjust it to snug up from the bottom and tweak it alittle. Lear ance is paper thin. But I like it.

Very sturdy mount. Option to just run 2 bolts on the main piece if you choose. Be careful to mount the large piece first, will scrape the tailgate in reverse.

Very nicely made ... maybe TOO nice. Heavy powder coating can combine with surprisingly poorly conductive vehicle hardware ... effectively insulates the bracket from the vehicle. If being used to mount a radio antenna, this isn't good. I ended up drilling a separate hole through the bracket and into the vehicle directly, and tapping it 8-32, then using a stainless bolt to make the ground connection electrically sound. Same issue applies at the mount itself, can be tricky. Plus the hole itself needs to be drilled out from the stock 0.525" to 0.610" to fit a SO-239 type mount.

Works great for Ham radio, I drilled out to fit an SO239 to not only fit but hold solid. Quad band HAM antenna. Gen 2, 2015 Toyota Tacoma
