I have a 1965 Oldsmobile Starfire that has green overlays on the turn signals and the "cold" light (stays green until the engine warms up). They have faded over the years and looked a nasty yellow. I had the great idea to put these LED's in to replace them. They look great, but at night they will blind you when you turn the blinker on. Wish I could tone them down because the color is perfect.

These are great. My motorcycle's neutral gear and the turn signal lights were impossible to see in daylight. For the neutral light, I simply slipped in the bulb and because the lamp's output is so much greater, the 'N' is easily visible night or day. The turn signal is equally visible, but because the light is polarity sensitive, it would only come on in one direction. There is so much room under the LED deck, I soldered together a little full wave bridge rectifier out of tiny diodes so now the little lamp is not polarity sensitive. The little diode array fits in the base of the lamp with the LED deck on top and works wonderfully. Of course, I could have made up a larger full wave bridge and wired it in on the outside, but this was so easy and neat, I did it this way. We'll see how well the lamps hold up to motorcycle vibrations.
