I had some tires put on my car and was told by the service people that I needed to order new Lug Nuts before the next rotation of tires. So I went onto Amazon used the make/model, vin# part finder and searched for lug nuts. These said they were correct for my 2016 Jeep renegade. It said they work on my car. We'll I ordered them a while back and just now needed to rotate tires and service car. THEY DID NOT FIT ON MY CAR. They were way to long. I would love to send then back and get the correct ones but I can't because it has been too long. I TRUSTED AMAZONS part finder and I got screwed. Now I have to pay for another set when it was Amazon that messed up.

I have a 2018 Jeep Compass and the 2 part lug bolts swelled from 19mm to almost 20mm. I used a 20mm impact to remove the old ones. Some stuck in the 20mm and some fell out so swelling varied but no 19mm would work. The replacements are a little longer and the 1 piece top is 17mm. Wheel photo shows them installed. Site said common torque 70-80 and Jeep said 100. So I went with 90 ft lbs torque. I hit them 3 times so likely a little over 90. I hand screwed them in with the extender and then torqued them. They felt solid and I think even though the tops are smaller they still look good. Now I should not have to worry about removing them. The old ones were a bit of a challenge. Use a 20mm impact socket. I used a 150 ft lb torque stick so I would not stress them too much trying to remove them. Push hard for maximum connection. The shop had already messed them up so a little harder probably when I did it since some were bent up already and they drilled a hole in one. Not sure what that did for them. But a success and problem solved.

I couldn't get the original lugs off and was told they swelled. I ordered these and they fit nicely, the head is smaller at 17mm but seem solid and comes with enough to switch all 4 to new lugs.

These worked for our 2016 Jeep Renegade, which had lug nuts starting to round out on me. They are slightly longer than OEM but in my opinion are nicer quality and easier to install. Would recommend.

The lug bolt head is different and won't match the spare tire wrench that comes with the factory jack, however , they are MUCH better than factory IMHO as they do not have a lug cap that will bend and come off - I think that is better. If you carry a tire iron with your spare anyway, go for it. 17mm is on the tire iron and these are 17mm lug bolt head. Factory was 19mm I believe. Also, these lug bolts seem to have 4 more threads or so, so if you are using a thin non hub centric wheel spacer or maybe a thicker non OEM wheel , it could be good to have a few extra threads. They look great!
