These filters are as published. Cleaning them though is a bit of an effort just like any other paper cartridge. I wish that someone would invent a good tool to clean out the area between pleats. I found the best approach is to let the filter air dry and then using compressed air blow out the debris. Then soak in water with a chemical for cleaning the paper filters followed by a rinse with a cleaning wand. Almost like new.

The fit was off by a few inches and did not fit my filtration system as described. As you can image I was quite disappointed. I stored them away when I bought them as a replacement when the current filters go bad. Not only did I waste money, I wasted my time, smh.

I wish I had not waited so long to replace these. Life is easier with these new filters. The cost between using more chemicals and getting new filters is smaller than i thought. They maintain the pool much better with less chlorine and perfect weekly and less shocking overall. I had an entire new filter installed 2021, so the previous ones lasted 4 years. The last cleaning was just to get water moving because it was pretty slimy and heavy. I'll maintain these better and get them cleaned more often. Il glad they fit. I have a Pentaie Clean and Clear Plus.

I finally broke down and ordered a second set of filters. My original filters (8 years old) are still in good shape, but i'm noticing that the standard hose jet nozzle isn't cutting it to get all the gunk out of the filters.Pro tip: soak your really dirty filters in dilute muriatic acid (garbage can or 5 gal bucket and have to flip). it really helps the gunk come out.Its nice to be able to swap the filters and then come back later and clean them. Not have to do it all at once.
