I never got to enjoy my boom box. I plugged it into the New Zealand electricity plug, and it blew up. I should have been told that I needed a voltage transformer.

I recently lost my portable CD player and my son wanted to hear a song on a CD that had me recorded singing. I was happy to see that I could still get a boombox. This one is pretty decent and feels like great quality. It has some modern touches like a usb port and SD card slot. The sound is decent and the screen is easy to see and use. It's also backlit, which is a plus. Overall, it's incredibly easy to use. I just wish it included bluetooth to keep it more modern and last longer and be more useful in the house. Other than that, it's great and super portable. You can even install batteries, if needed.

I got this as a surprise, being it is getting harder for us to find ways to enjoy our CD's and cassette tapes. It isn't trying to eat our cassettes, and it has a descent reader that plays lightly scratched CDs smoothly. The radio catches the channels we want, and the connectors let us use the speakers with our phone playlist. It's is a great device for our casual needs!

I'm really pleased with this boombox that I recently got. When I found this boombox, I knew I wanted to get it because it helped bring back a lot of my favorite memories from my early adulthood. When they saw it, my grandchildren, who range in age from 4 to 20, laughed and made fun of me for "showing my age." But after they figured it out, they were hooked! Unexpectedly, the majority of my grandchildren preferred it over their phones or tablets when it came to music.I brought out my old CD collection and was impressed by the sharp, clear sound quality. The boombox produces rich, full-bodied stereo sound, bringing my music to life again. It arrived just in time for Christmas, and I was eager to switch from our traditional routine of streaming Christmas music on the TV. This year, we used a boombox to fill our home with seasonal music. It was the ideal way to set the tone as we moved from the dining room for dinner to the living room to open presents.I appreciate that it is portable, allowing me to transfer it from room to room without difficulty. Whether we were eating supper or spending a holiday together, this boombox made every moment memorable. My husband has already claimed it for use in his workshop when not in use elsewhere, such as on our pool deck while we swim this year. If you're searching for a nostalgic, enjoyable, and dependable method to listen to music, this boombox is an excellent choice. It is a hit with all generations in my household!

Handy little boombox. It works well and I've had zero issues with cassette or cd playing. Sounds decent. I appreciate the option of plug or batteries.

Back in the 80s, a boombox was an essential piece of equipment. It’s great to see these making a bit of a comeback and with newer, modern features. This unit plays both CDs and cassette tapes and has a radio in it, and can connect to USB and micro cards. It has a remote to move between tracks, but you can’t control volume with it. Weirdly, there appears to be no on/off switch - you plug it in and it is on. Overall, the sound is not as good as what I would expect - good on treble but light on the bass (and no super bass mode). Overall, a good unit to have around for CDs and the radio but the sound is not going to take you back to a 80s-er boombox.
