Adorable, retro CD player. Plastic wood grain look, with complimentary hardware. This option is the white and rose gold. Supports CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3, WMA, WAV. Has play, pause, stop, skip, and rewind, for easy browse. Comes with a rechargeable battery for 6 to 8 hours of charge or USB plug in option. Turns off automatically after 15 minutes of non-use. Easy to transport, store, or use anywhere including outdoors. Build in speakers are very decent quality. Customer service is responsive, available, and quick. Most importantly after purchase. Kind of pricey for the unit, but most likely paying for the nostalgia look.

My teen daughter has discovered the joy of K-Pop. This has led to a plethora of CDs being purchased to get photo cards, posters and other fun inserts that seem to be the main draw. However, this led to “I need a CD player so I can hear them”.After some looking around, I found this very cute CD player that checked most of the boxes, and my daughter LOVES it. Let me go into why.First, the design is great. It’s made to resemble a turntable, and the way to get the player activated is to move the turntable arm into position over the CD. Want to turn it off? Move the arm back into the starting position. Very clever! In addition, there are a number of buttons along the side next to the turntable to control functions like skip ahead, rewind, play, stop. Plus a small (smaller than a credit card) remote that also gives you the ability to do all those things.It has a rechargeable battery built in, which allows for 2 to 3 hours of playback time without being plugged in. With a little testing, we also found that you could plug in a portable battery which will charge the battery and allow for continued playback - so the dance party can go on for HOURS.We also noted that the cd player seems to have a 30 second buffer built into it. This confused her a little at first when the CD stopped spinning but the music kept playing. Nope, just emptying the buffer and letting the player rest a bit.It does have built in speakers, which sound pretty decent, but also has the ability to connect via Bluetooth or 3.5mm or USB cable to external speakers if you want a bigger sound. With the built in speakers, the sound is pretty comparable to an Alexa or similar device. It’s not going to fill anything beyond a small bedroom, but does sound pretty decent for its size.The device itself is pretty small, roughly six inches by ten inches in size. So it fits in smaller spaces easily, and is very portable. It runs off of a USB-C wall adapter, which is thankfully very common these days. This is also where we tried the portable battery to find it can both play and charge the battery simultaneously.Overall, a great buy. I was a bit surprised not to find an AM/FM tuner built into it, but for the main function of playing CDs and producing sounds - this works great!

This CD player is so great.Everybody loves the way it looks like a vinyl record player. It's so fun that you actually move the arm to be above the CD when you want to play it (like you would with a record).We also love the flexibility that it includes additional playback options (bluetooth, aux). It works great as a speaker. It apparently can also act as a blutooth transmitter but we don't have an additional bluetooth receiver to test that with.The battery life seems great so far. We brought it to full charge and have been playing CDs without needing to recharge for a while. Not sure exactly how long the battery life is since we went ahead and plugged back in just to not run out of steam mid-jam. :)Overall this is a fabulous accessory that we absolutely love.

This little player is pretty sweet. Not only is it retro because it's a CD player, but also because it's a record player. I had to burn a couple cd's once it arrived so I could test and it played them no problem with pretty good sound out of the little speakers. For kids who don't have a clue what a CD is it also connects via Bluetooth which worked without a hiccup.This player garners the most attention from my guests every time I have people over. I'm thinking of changing the pink color, though, to something more neutral. During my playing of some test CDs, I tried bumping it and bouncing it by hitting the table it is on to see if I could make it skip during playback, and not once did it. Seems very well made, and the battery has lasted a good amount of time. I haven't needed to charge again over the couple of play sessions I have done which makes this a perfect little player to take outside while grilling or just chilling. Would recommend to anyone. You can even hook up to bigger speaks if the built in ones don't cut it for you - super simple. For me the price to value is great. Some might call it a novelty in this day and age and I wouldn't say they are wrong but for those of us who grew up with discmans and massive cd collections as the norm this thing is a great nostalgia trip back and I am all in!

The sound from playing CD's in this thing is awesome and the fact that it looks like a record player is even better for me, love that. When I use Bluetooth and connect my iPhone to it the volume is much lower even after adjusting iPhone volume to max and tuning the CD player's volume to the same level I had it on while playing CDs. Knocked off stars because the first one came broken - one of the screws was out of its hole and the hole was broken so it wouldn't screw back in - and the second one has a misaligned clear lid so one side hangs off and the other side sits farther into the CD player. It charges up and functions like it should though. Love the white and rose gold color scheme!
