It works. I was able to charge up my FT-3D using this charger and it is fast. I like the addition of the cigarette lighter power source as well. It makes for a very versatile way of keeping batteries charged up. You can even just drop the battery into the charger without the radio. That works too.

Great charger that works as good as the Yaesu equivalent. My only warning would be that this like anything else Amazon sells if anything goes wrong just be warned that Amazon no longer does instant refunds. You will now wait 30 days or longer for a refund. However like I said the quality of this charger in my experience is just as good as Yaesu and a whole lot cheaper.
