The old one was still working but ohm tested out of spec. I tested this one before installing (they also test during production but I wanted to be sure). Easy to install if you have the tools to take off and reinstall the flywheel. Big power improvement, engine runs great.

Was easy to install. Worked as should. Corrected problem with charging, tach, no power, no hole shot, miss, spits, and sputters. Would recommend replacing the voltage regulator at same time. Would also recommend checking and cleaning all connections especially battery connections and the use of dielectric grease.
