Cheapest metal found. You should be able to tighten the nuts but it stripped the threads. I was able to use the plates but had to buy new Ubolts.

I used these to clamp some off-road LED light bars to my 2" ROPS on my compact tractor. I worked well! perhaps a bit overkill, but i didn't have to drill any holes in the roll-bar there-by not reducing it effectiveness in a roll-over.

Boat trailers rust out the springs in 4 years in the Gulf. These are heavy and well galvanized. Hopefully they will last even longer.
