Your cart is empty. The CE Smith Frame Cross Member Pad is a must-have for any boat trailer. These Black poly pads are designed to cushion the trailer cross members and protect your boat's keel. The edge cover style of these pads allows them to mount on the trailing edge of any width cross member or axle, making them a versatile addition to your trailer accessories. Each pad measures 10" L x 1-1/2" W and is 3/8" thick with 4-1/2" hole centers. Installation is simple, just use two rivets or screws through the top (hardware not included) to mount the pads. Simple install. Set in place, mark holes with a Sharpie and drill into the crossmember. I used aluminum rivets to hold it in place. Made of a harder plastic, but has stood up well to the occasional skid from the fiberglass hull.

Added 2 of these to my PWC trailer to protect the hulls where the one crossmember runs… Worked pretty well. They aren’t as flexible as I thought they’d be. But they fit the trailer and contoured to the metal crossmember well enough.Can’t speak to longevity as I sold the trailer a few weeks later when I upgraded. I’d imagine they’ll hold up fine tho from the construction

Thought it would be made or rubber since they claimed it flexible but no it's rock hard made or extremely hard plastic.

I am actually very happy with these even though its stiff plastic. I bought 2 so I could put them side by side on the trailer cross member. I used self tapping screws and installed these in 2-3 minutes. The bow of the boat slides on these very easily.

Having the term "FLEX" in the name of the product would give the buyer the impression that the keel guard is flexible. The received product is anything but flexible!
