this is a caged ceiling fan that is lightweight and easy to install. It has a nice LED light that you can change the color temperature from bright white, warm white and cool white. You also have 6 fan speed to use. the included remote control lets you choose your options without having to get up and pull a chain. I recommend this type of ceiling fan it is very modern

Install was very confusing because the instructions did not match up with the product. It shows switches and buttons that this product does not have. So we had to figure it out on our own. Thankfully we have some experience with fans and lighting so we got it installed and working but not before stopping several times and even taking it down once while still trying to use the directions that came with it.Basically, it needs wired to old ceiling fan connections for it to be functional but there is no pairing it with your phone or app because there is no pairing button on the fan as it says in the instructions. You can use the remote, which works 95% of the time (buttons don’t always seem to register) and with that, it does dim and has several fan speeds.Time will tell how long it lasts but so far, it’s a good solution for a small room with a relatively low ceiling.
