Originally my review of this sensor was negative because I had decided to test it with a mock up test light setup before permanent installation to make sure the sensor mounting location would work but the test light never once shut off and stayed on for hours. I called tech support and Al Rayborn was very helpful in resolving the issue and the sensor is working as expected now. However, I had to disable the microphone because the sensor is picking up noise from somewhere, maybe vehicle traffic behind my house, and the test light never shut off. Once the audio detection was disabled the sensor works great now and actually has very good range for detecting motion. I still think the programming instructions could be written better, but good tech support makes up for the shortfall if you need additional help. I'm happy the motion sensor is working now and I can move forward with the permanent garage lighting installation, but having to disable the noise detection feature to achieve this is still disappointing so I knocked off one star.

I purchased but did not realize at the time, that this was a 24 volt AC supply. Connecting 120 volt would have fried the components, Thankfully I was carefull and noticed the power supply did not match my situation. Therefore I returned. If you purchased the power regulator, it might work for your application, unfortunatey it did not work for mine. Other that the price being high, it was fine.

Purchased this item because the lights were constantly being left on in my garage. While it does for the most part detect when someone enters the garage sometimes I can walk ten feet into the garage before it detects me. Also while working in the garage it will shut the lights because it is not sensitive enough to my movements while there. Not as reliable as I had hoped.

This unit came without any packaging or documentation. It did appear to be in new condition, I assume it may have been pulled from a contractor multi pack. I installed the unit and I just get random flashing from the indicator when trying to program the unit. I sourced another unit locally and it works as it should. Unfortunately for me, I missed the return period.

I purchased these based on price point alone and I'm glad I did. Wired them in sequential stages in a gym and it was smooth and seamless. Nice product.

This is just what I wanted and expected. I wired it into my garage lights and now the lights come on when I walk in and go off a few minutes after I leave. Sound sensor works great as well. Lights go on and stay on as long as you are making noise and/or moving around. No more lights going out while in the middle of working on something.The only CON is that it is not easy to change the settings. There are a number of settings but only a single button and led light for changing the functions. It takes a while to figure out how to get into setting mode but the instructions are clear. Fortunately, the factory default will be good for most applications.The most important consideration is whether you can locate it in spot that is visible to all room entrances.
