This ceiling-mounted pull-up bar is a serious piece of equipment built for serious workouts. Rated up to 800 pounds, the heavy-duty steel frame and reinforced construction feel rock solid once installed, whether you’re mounting it to wood joists in the garage or concrete in a basement. What really sets it apart is the versatility: six grip options including wide, narrow, neutral, and even textured ball grips for finger strength training make it a dream for climbers, MMA athletes, or anyone looking to level up their grip game. The included round anchors are a smart bonus for TRX straps or resistance bands, turning the unit into a multifunction training station. It’s also surprisingly customizable—the adjustable height (18” to 26”) is easy to tweak without tools, and the compact overhead design keeps it out of the way in smaller spaces. For the price, it delivers gym-quality function and flexibility at home. Despite all the good, the pins which allow you to adjust the height were missing from the package. As such, not only did I have to supply my own bolts to make this work, I now have a bar that requires tools to be adjusted. Very disappointing.

Very heavy weight bars that works really well. I go back and forth from my power tower to this. It is a nice change up and I get a different feel from it. Installation was easy and they provide bolts for concrete and wall studs. Once the main frame is installed the rest goes up in seconds. Overall, a good set of bars.

The title of the product states clearly Ceiling Mount for Garage, Basement, Rafter. Imaging my surprise when the box it get, has the product in the pictures, but the paperwork in the box states the product is designed to be mounted on the wall. Not only that, but the design would not allow the product to be used properly if it was mounted on a wall since the design is to for mounting above not to the side. It is well built, heavy duty and would likely be solid, once I find a way to mount it in my basement. At this point, I will likely have to buy multiple pieces of wood, to build an anchor point between the floor joists to mount the pull up bar to.

This was advertised as a ceiling-mounted pull up bar, but the instructions clearly said it’s for wall mounting, which was the first red flag. My kit was missing the gear-shaped adjustment rods, though luckily the expansion bolts fit the holes. The worst part was installation; however, is that you can’t just mount it directly to your ceiling joists. It's a fixed width install, but the mounting brackets are too wide for a standard US 2 by X joist. You have to go buy a 2x6 board, lay it flat on your ceiling, secure that to your joists with lag bolts, and then mount the bar to the board. That adds more time, cost, and tools to what should have been a simpler setup. I expected a more complete and accurate product based on how it was described. Once installed, it feels strong enough, but the experience getting there was frustrating enough that I wouldn’t recommend it.

Fantastic setup especially for the price. I thought it would be too narrow but with the outside handles it's great. My only issue with it is the brackets are too wide for a ceiling rafter and more designed for a solid structure. easy fix is to mount a 2x4 for the ceiling using the on center of a joist and mount the bar to the 2x4. I'm 6'3" and my wife is 5"3" so it's nice to the ability to easily lower the bar as well without losing any stability in the setup.
