Un uso un poco difícil al principio, pero al final se vuelve fácil usarlo, y más gracias a su sistema GoTo, que lo hace más cómodo al buscar el objeto en el cielo. Venía bien protegido y sin maltrato. Lo recomiendo.

I really recommend this telescope for amateur astronomers. Because i used to have a 70az refractor, the 80lcm is not really a big difference to me. This is some pros and cons for this telescope.PROSClear Crisp images of the moonJupiter and its moons can be observedRings of saturn can be clearly seenComes with H25mm and H10mm eyepiecesBright stars can also be seen with little colour distortion.Sturdy tripod and motorized alt-azimuth mount.High quality aluminium tube.CONSEven though the telescope is 80mm and 900mm in length, it is still somewhat wobbly when mounted onto the dovetail mount. You need to do quite some reading in order to use the nexstar software properly. The red dot finderscope is a little hard to align properly, consider getting a better finderscope. The telescope requires 8AA batteries to operate, it is enough to have around 5 hours non stop stargazing. So thats it for my review, it is really good and the price is just right. Got to see albireo in cygnus with brilliant detail. Thanks for reading my review! Clear skies!

Awesome telescope 🔭 was a great Christmas gift for the wife. Unfortunately the scope came with a few scratches. One pays this price and would expect to get something brand new and flawless. We will be testing it in-depth later tonight. Will update this review if needed.

Telescope is great. Easy to use. Immediately able to see planets. Able to see Saturn and it's rings.

I bought this telescope for my son's 9th birthday (young, but a keen astronomer and founder member of the local astronomy club). The verdict after 18 months use: excellent! At club astronomy nights he is often the first to set up, and, using the fully computerised GOTO (the computer is built-in), observes more objects than many much older and more experienced astronomers. A few points to note:The internal battery pack is good for an hour or two (using rechargeable batteries), but for longer sessions I've bought him an external battery and cable. The external power connector socket is a bit unreliable - its a pity it does not have some sort of firm cable retention. It is unavoidable that objects at higher elevation place the eyepiece low (near the ground). I always wear a pair of workman's knee-pads to help me grovel!.When automatically moving to objects at high elevation the scope sometimes runs into the tripod (it isn't cleaver enough to work out that this is going to happen) - this then usually requires realignment from scratch. This can sometimes be avoided by manually moving the telescope near the object first, but sometimes you just have to wait until the object is lower in the sky.The Celestron "red dot" finder (on all the budget Celestron scopes) is completely useless. I've fitted a Rigel Quikfinder ("mini-Telrad") finder that works a dream.Even taking these issues into account, this scope is fantastic value.

To own a telescope which has excellent optics, excellent controls, excellent computer guided night sky object finder, light in weight, can be run by rechargeable batteries, and does absolutely everything that an 80mm telescope can be expected to do is to own this Celestron, the best all around maker of telescopes for amateurs and university observatories. This telescope deserves 5 stars. The only reason it isn't getting them is that I wish the telescope objective lens was twice as wide.

The telescope is solidly-constructed, perhaps a taller tripod might have been nice as there's a fair bit of crouching on the floor involved to see objects overheard or at least high in the sky.It took me a while to get to try it properly as we seem to get one night per week that's clear at the moment. It also took a while to work out the best method to calibrate it, the telescope arrives believing you're in the US but having finally entered the longitude and latitude and made a note of some of the best stars to use to set it up, I was finally able to let it work. The tripod does move slightly as you're focusing, perhaps because our decking isn't rock-solid, and I've still not got up at 2am to get a decent look at Saturn. But my first view of the moon and of Jupiter was enough to make me realise: this is a way, way better telescope than I had as a kid and very good value for money. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is its inability to remember the time, date etc. You have to keep reminding it of this stuff each time you turn on. Plus, the orange backlit handset isn't very easy to read - you still need a torch to read it properly. But these are the minor niggles of an older gentleman and wouldn't put me off buying the very same 'scope again.

Not as expected at all. All the above 5 stars are very dubious. I am a real customer and find it far not as good as I expected. There is NO computer connection at all. The software does not support Windows 8 and crash constantly. I could not see Jupiter as clear as the image shown above. It must be taken from another telescope with much higher magnification, not this one. Even my son, a 9 years old boy, feels it sucks.

I purchased this item from Amazon, and while the telescope itself worked fine, the remote and motor did not work. Since I purchased it for the computerized motor, I was disappointed. I contacted Celestron and they accurately diagnosed it using the error codes on the remote. Their prompt, courteous and accurate response along with the efforts of Amazon to handle the exchange made it an excellent transaction in spite of initial disappointment. If you plan to use it for extended viewing, purchase the ac adapter, 8 AA batteries last 45 minutes. Don't forget the computer cables (2) to make it functional with the software.
