This product kinda worked, but its cheap, and very low to the ground. you have to work hard to find something and then work hard not to bump it. Entertaining for about an hr.

I was very disappointed in this product, I purchased it for my 8 year old grandson and he uses it with out the stand as it is so short you need a table to set it on. It is very inconvenient to pack a table out to the open field to look at the moon and stars. And it is not much fun to set it up under a covered porch and deck as it limits the viewing. I would recommend to not purchase this item even if it is for younger children. Very disappointed in this purchase.

Purchased for my sons 6th birthday. Finally got around to in packaging this past weekend and while the novelty of the telescope is cool for him, it's functionality is not. We cannot get the thing to focus and can't see much out of it. It is now relegated to becoming a play toy so he can pretend...bummer

My son asked for a telescope for over 6 months. We did a lot of research to see which one would be best suited for a 7 year old. There were a lot of good review for this telescope. To his excitement "Santa" brought him one Christmas morning! We liked that it came in a case. The glass pushed out of it on day one, but we were able to pop it back in. It is a great 1st telescope!
