To start with, let me say that I've got this installed in my camper. I have not been on a trip with it yet, and I have good 5G where I'm located so I don't know how well this is going to work once I get out to a campsite in a more remote area. The area I normally go camping does have 5G connection, but it's pretty weak. The description on this on the website says that it does support 5G however, nothing in the manual speaks to the use of 5G. That aside the installation was pretty easy. I have it set up on a pole that mounts to my RV ladder, which is going to workout pretty well. It came with two lengths of cable that connect to one another with a female to female connection that makes the installation pretty easy since I have to take it apart when I'm traveling. I have one cable routed into the camper and then comes out of service bay. The second cable that I hook up to the antenna itself and run on the ground alongside the camper. These boosters are supposed to be set up where the booster antenna and the receiver box are perpendicular to one another. So I mounted the inside box on a swivel panel so that I can adjust it if needed once I get to a campsite. I will update this review once I get on the road with it.

Sleek design, simple setup, good booster:I was a littler nervous to set this up at first because it's a little bit larger than I'd anticipated, but actually really like the sleek look of the antenna and think it looks nice once set up outside, blending in nicely with the side of the house and not standing out in an ugly way like some antennas do (just make sure it's facing the cell tower before installing). Setting up this unit was relatively simple but I would recommend reading through the entire directions before taking time to install this, as the distance between the devices can play a pretty big role in how well it works. After adhering to the directions and following the setup guide, the signal was boosted quite a bit pretty much immediately, and I went from fluctuating between 1 and 2 bars to having a solid 4-5 bar connection, even when on the patio right outside, which usually has terrible service and our wifi can't reach well.Overall, this is a great product and I would recommend.

I already have two boosters for other locations, so this device is here compared to those.First thing noticed after unpacking is that this booster is more than 3 times the size of my other boosters.Still very lightweight, so I suspect it is mostly air inside. Its size impacted by both having room on the front for the nice LCD displays for each band, and the fact that its antenna is internal only (no way to separate the booster electronics from the in-house antenna.I tested this booster in parallel to an existing booster (turning them off individually to compare), so I already had the pole and the right direction for the external antenna location. Making it easier to compare.I have a very weak basic signal to my internet device, which un-boosted showed a signal strength of only -100 dBm to -105 dBm (lower is better), by the same device also shown as 3 bars. Working but not strong.With the existing booster running, I am used to a signal of consistent -50 to -55 dBm (5 bars).Switching to this booster, there is also a good improvement, but not nearly the same.This device stayed right around -75 dBm all the time (the internet devices still calls this 5 bars). So significantly boosted (probably more than enough) but not as much as the existing competing booster, being less fancy and "pretty".I also found that the actual boost, seeing as external antenna setup was the same, depends a lot of on the location of the internal setup, which here is a single box with the built-in antenna. In other words, which wall you can find to hang the box on, and HOW HIGH UP you can hang it.Therein lies part of the problem. I found that I got a slightly better boost for the internet device if placing the box/booster higher up on a wall. But this defeats its "pretty" interface and the boost indicator "graphs" on its front. For all that information to be really useful, you kind of have to be able to see it, and placing this box high up on a wall, you would have to stand on a chair to actually see them. :-)Actual boosting will depend on which bands you need boosted (AT&T, Verizon, ...), and exactly how you can set it up, so experiences will of course vary.But for me, I must admit that this booster is quite a large box to have hanging, and the internal antenna only adds an additional limitation in that you cannot separate the location of the booster electronics ("the box") from the internal antenna location as I can with the other boosters.So, overall, I'd say that all its "prettyness", the fancier display, and the internal antenna comes with a cost.Not as easy to locate, less boost (for my band needs).Recommended, as long as you know the inherent limitations of this design compared to more standard boosters.

I have been using another brand signal booster and worked well but figured I would give this one a try. This one seems to be well made and the cable is an upgrade over my other one.It was just as easy to install and get up and working. Once powered up it quickly started to show me the bands and each ones gain. You can also deselect any of the bands you may not want to be boosted.I was very surprised to see the boost go from -107 to -71 and is a huge improvement signal wise.I decided to run a speed test and that is where things got really weird.My download speeds without the signal booster were consistently between 47-57 meg.My download speeds using the signal booster were consistently 25-28 meg. Almost half the speed not using the booster??Now not using the booster upload speeds were 40 meg while using the booster the upload speeds went up to about 60 meg.I am very confused why my signal improved so much but the download speeds went down by half while upload speeds went up.So until I am able to figure out how to get the download speeds back up I will not be using this booster.Hope this helps and thanks..

I have had a couple boosters with fake screens or poor reception/coverage. I have the receiving antenna mounted outside of roof peak window(no access to roof). The outdoor signal is partially blocked by trees and buildings a couple miles away from tower. I get good reception on several bands. We have three different carrier users inside metal building. No reported issues reported by anyone. Now calls are receivable and reliable inside building. Without relying on wifi calling. The unit was easy to setup and use. I also like that individual bands can be disabled.
