This cell booster is great to have on those trips with limited cell signal. I'd encourage anyone considering investing in one of these to spend a little bit of time reading about what they are capable of so that you are not disappointed when you still can't get a signal in the middle of nowhere. This unit is well made and I was impressed as soon as I opened the box. It's not a quick plug and play setup, so be aware if that if you're ordering this right before a trip. It's not very difficult to install and setup, but it is a bit more involved than I had expected.Once you have it up and running, it's a great piece of tech to have on your rig. It works great and I would have no problem ordering this one again.

First of all, customer support has been amazing for me. I ordered the Atcell for use in our vehicles as we live in an area with spotty connection due to all the hills/mountains around us. On top of it, I wasn't sure that my phone was connecting with this unit, so I reached out to customer support for assistance. The customer support team is awesome. They walked me through step-by-step to figure out where the issue lies. While my family is all on the same networks (AT&T and T-Mobile), each cell phone varies in the band that it hones in on. Apparently, my cell phone likes to sit at band 16, which is not supported by this booster. My spouse and mother have the same network as me, but their phones pull in different bands - so this booster works well for them. That being said, I was advised that hills and mountains will still pose somewhat of an obstacle for the antenna, as they'll interfere with the line of sight and so while call quality can improve, we may still experience zones where no signal is possible just due to the geography.I'd recommend this booster, and the company. Just test your personal cell first to check to see what band you're on as for the cost of this booster, it's an investment.

We live up in Alaska and sometimes cell service is intermittent when we are off the beaten path. These cell boosters have come in quite handy to keep in contact with home when we are in those backwoods spots. Something to know about these boosters is just that, they "boost" service that is already there but they do not create new service. If there is zero service coverage then this unit will not create a network. If you understand that then you will be much happier with this unit. Setup was easy, just be sure to follow the instructions and you will be good. Quality parts and worth checking out. Good for cars, trucks, boats, and RV's.

This was an easy install into my Motorhome. It doesn't draw too much power and it kept us connected our whole way through the Yukon and into Alaska.

A bit of a process to set up, but once it’s done, this thing works! Just using my home base as an example, my phone reception went from two bars to five bars, just by using the system. I used to have constant dropped calls and poor data coverage in my vehicle regardless of what I did. Those problems are all gone now thanks to the system! I can’t recommend enough!

This cell phone booster has been working pretty well in my car. I get way better reception now, especially when I'm driving through areas with spotty service. It works with all the major cell phone companies, so that's a plus. It was easy to set up and now I have fewer dropped calls and faster internet. It even works for 5G. They give you two options for mounting it on your console which is cool.

Overall, this kit is complete with everything I needed in order to get this set up and running successfully. The package also included some additional cables and pieces to accommodate the user’s layout choice by offering a few options. I really found all the parts to be of a high grade quality. All the metallic pieces were milled cleanly out of a hefty block of steel making the outside antenna nice and strong ands sturdy. I found the who thing very easy to setup because the instructions were very thorough and easy to understand. I respect companies that provide good paper manuals to help me setup their product from start to finish like this did.The central unit looks of a high built quality as well. It has a nice screen, that clearly shows you how each of the different bands are being received and boosted. There isn’t too much user control on the actual device itself, but it is more of a screen to show the user what is going on as the system all takes care of itself when it is plugged it. There are some buttons that lead the user to read about proper antenna setup distances as well teaching the user about how oscillations from negative feedback. The hardest part is trying to get the indoor and outdoor antennas situated so that they do not interfere with one another. Its not terribly hard to do but the one thing I realized was that the device knows when reception is good and does not boost a signal if you are getting a strong signal to begin with. In other words, installing this in the city. What that means is you need to start driving away from cities for this to start working effectively, as it should.Overall it is a nice system and should benefit a lot of people who need improved reception while on the road. Great for truckers or RV drivers. I like it very much.

For anyone that spends any amount of time way out off the beaten path, this is a potential lifesaver. This antenna is a bit tricky to get set up; but once you've got everything configured well, it's going to make your truck so much better connected to mobile networks than it could ever be otherwise. I use this mostly for off grid camping and hunting; and it's made what used to be a total deadzone into a reliably connected destination.Highly recommended. It's a bit of an investment, but worth every penny.

Pros:- After opening the box my first impression is that this is really high quality stuff. Everything is made out of super solid materials, especially the outside antenna and mounting parts which is great to see because it will need to stand up to a lot of wear and tear.- The mounting kit seems daunting at first but is actually pretty easy to set up as long as you have supporting bars on your side mirrors to mount the bracket to. The instructions included in the box are pretty detailed and easy to follow.- I found that it makes a huge difference in cell performance when in remote locations, especially in areas with mountains where the signal gets very weak on a normal phone. The large outdoor antenna is way more sensitive to signals that the antenna in your phone. I did still experience totally dead coverage in some remote spots, but it was much more rare.- It supports the main cellular bands used by major Canadian carriers. I can confirm that it works well with Telus specifically. It also supports both calling and internet/data, so both your calls and your web browsing or music downloads will be improved.- Having the large LCD display to monitor the signal strength and configure the unit is way more convenient compared to units I've seen before that just have a few LEDs for signal status and knobs for configuration.- It runs off a standard 12 V outlet, which you probably already have in your car or van, so you don't need an extra power adapter.Cons:- None.Current title: Atcall Cell Phone Booster for Truck, Intuitive LCD Monitor, Real Time Signal Strength, Truck Cell Phone Signal Booster Boost 5G 4G LTE Signal for All Canadian Carriers, ISED ApprovedMy rating system: 5 stars = performs as expected, 4 stars = small flaws, 3 stars = major flaws, 2 stars = barely usable, 1 star = trash

This is a good-quality cellphone booster antenna kit for vehicles which can also work for places where the signal quality is weak. The installation was straightforward. The included manual guided me through the steps, and I set it up in about 30 minutes. The compact antenna fits nicely in the truck or anywhere with a stable mounting point and no special tools were needed. The wiring is long enough to accommodate larger vehicles, so I imagine it would work well in a semi or RV as well. The LCD monitor is a fantastic feature that lets me monitor the signal strength in real-time. The display is clear and easy to read, which is helpful when adjusting the antenna position to get the best possible signal. It also helped me see a clear boost in signal when I activated it, allowing me to adjust my location for better connectivity. Atcall booster is ISED approved, ensuring it meets Canadian regulations, this compliance makes this a safe product and no need to worry about the boost interfering with other devices or networks. the booster is compatible with all Canadian cellphone providers which makes it an all-in-one kit suitable for travelling across Canada. The only downside, with this might be the price, but I believe it is worth the investment for reliable communication. I highly recommend the Atcall Cell Phone Booster for trucks. It’s easy to set up, performs well, and is ISED approved.

We have a cabin that doesn't have a good cell reception. I initially planned on buying a booster for the cabin and having it installed inside. Every time we go to the cabin, we spend a lot of time by the nearby lake. So I thought I could cheat and came across this RV booster instead. I ordered it specifically since it's designed a bit more portable than then usual boosters. I didn't install it on an RV but on my truck. So when the truck is parked, I just bring out the internal antenna near the cabin window, and voila! And when we are out by the lake, well, I do the same! The booster works no matter where you are, so it's super useful. But of course, one thing that's super important that you'll need to keep in mind is that this is not a magical tool and will not create a signal out of thin air! That means there needs to be some sort of receivable signal, even weak, but some. It may be too weak for your phone, but there needs to be some sort of signal. And the booster boosts the existing signal. There's an LCD monitor that gives you a bunch of status readings, such as signal strength. It works well boosting 4G and 5G. I tried using it in a small town near my cabin. They have an antenna nearby, so as soon as I got close to the town, I noticed my phone detected 5G. Curious as to whether this was my shiny new phone or the booster, I turned off the booster, and the signal completely disappeared. I was in the car with windows rolled up... I'm sure if I left the car and went on the roof of the truck, I might have been able to get some signal. So, it has worked well in my case. I would highly suggest you to check if your provider is supported. It should support most Canadian providers, but it never hurts to check. So, one other thing I noticed since installing this booster in my truck is that it actually strengthens my signals. Especially when I'm using my older work phone (which has been dropped many times), there were some areas where I would get a signal, but I would lose the person on the other end a little, or sometimes the call would just drop. I always thought it was my phone, but it turned out I was partly right. It was my phone, but the issue was that my older phone simply couldn't get a good signal, whereas my iPhone had no issue. So with the booster, I have no issue using my work phone. I'm still gonna change my phone, but it's good to know the booster really works well. I'm planning to order another one for my SUV.Installation is straightforward and quick; it took me under an hour with all necessary accessories included. In my truck, I made it so it's easy to connect it to an external battery for when I'm in the cabin but still wanna use the booster. Great booster.

At the time of writing this review, this mobile cellphone booster costs $699.99.I do a lot of travelling and remote work. Given that I work mostly in Northern Alberta, there's so many places where cellphone reception is bad, or non existent, even in rural areas where you'd expect it. I've tested this at a few places I had poor reception in the past (Six Lakes, Maqua Lake, Grassland, North Buck, Skeleton Lake, Aurora) and all of them showed remarkable improvement while using this booster. This was mostly tested on Telus Band 5.The build of the booster is more typical of a permanent installation. I have this installed in my Ford F350, and I was easily able to hide all the cords and keep everything out of the way. The outer antenna is mounted on the headache rack and is ran underneath the truck, back inside and under the carpet. Installation took about an hour. The LCD screen is a great feature for seeing real time information on what bands are available, so you can know for sure which band is accessible, and where. I have been keeping mental notes on the long haul drives to know where I have reception in case I need to go back somewhere and make a call. The screen is intuitive and easy to read.In the most problematic area in between Fort McMurray and Edmonton, I have 0 dead spots now. There are some spots that do not have great signal still, but I am still able to make calls at the very least. I may not be able to use Netflix or Youtube well there, but I can rest easy knowing I am not isolated in case of an emergency. The price is a bit high compared to other comparable boosters. While this one is definitely the highest quality in terms of the booster having the LCD screen, and the feel and quality of the materials, I am unsure if that warrants double the price. I have had decent success with other cheap units, though I have had the antennas break and render them useless. It's a solid product that holds no punches. It's great at what I need it to do. It's strong and reliable and expensive, but it's still 5/5 stars.
