The area I am in has generally about one bar of signal strength. This item adds a small amount to that, which does make a difference. The only problem I have is that setting this up is quite challenging in finding where to place antennas. Setup is also very time consuming. While this seems to work fairly well for certain areas of the house, it doesn't seem to give me full coverage everywhere, so this item is a mixed bag for me.

I put off putting this up for a long time. Got it in months ago, and took a look at the instructions and decided I’ll wait. Finally got around to it whenever the winter weather came in and it wasn’t a sweat box to go outside. I won’t go into big detail, but it was every bit is involved as I was fearing. The main thing I’ll share is that there’s a part that you have to secure to a pole or something on the top of your roof or as high as you can get. We decided to put ours on an exhaust pipe on the house, or maybe it’s one of those pipes that are used to equalize water pressure or something. It wasn’t the best idea as I guess it shifts a little bit or maybe we didn’t tighten the clamp enough. Long story short it worked great originally. We set up the repeater to go in the side of the house that was more metal, and never got good signal. It worked for about a month, and then seem to drop out. After getting back on the roof and going through all the steps again, which took a little time, we found that the clamp had slipped down. So just make sure that you have it secure.

Setting it up took a bit of time, mostly because positioning the outdoor antenna just right was tricky, but once it was in place, the improvement was obvious. Our house went from frustrating dead zones to consistent signal strength throughout, including in the basement, where I used to lose service completely. I’ve noticed we now get 3-4 bars where we used to only get 1-2, and calls are clearer with fewer drops. The kit includes everything you need for installation, and while it’s straightforward, it does require some patience to get it right. I also appreciate that it supports multiple carriers since we use different providers in our household, and it works well for all of them. It doesn’t quite reach the full 5,000 sq. ft. as advertised, but it covers most of our home, which is good enough for us. The LED indicators are helpful for checking the signal status, and it even has a sleep mode to save power when not in use.Overall, it's been a worthwhile upgrade, especially if you live in a rural or semi-remote area and want better coverage for calls and internet. Just be prepared to spend a bit of time dialing in that outdoor antenna.

This cell booster does take quite a bit of effort to set up, but it is important to take the time to do so, because incorrect set up would result in poor signal, boosting, or worse, be detrimental to the existing signal strength by adding noise. I attempted to look for some tutorials to follow along on YouTube, but was unable to find any, so I just followed the included instructions carefully. My cabin is located in a narrow valley, resulting in a week cell signal on my property. While I do have Wi-Fi for most things, I need to walk into my yard in order to make calls on my phone. After installing the cell booster, I have been able to make calls from inside the house, which tells me that the system is working as it should.Overall, I am very pleased with the cell booster. If you are not very tech savvy, it probably would be wise to have someone assist you with the set up.

I have T-Mobile in NJ and live in an area where the signal is OK outside my house but I frequently miss calls or can't place calls if I'm inside. My house is 2800 sq ft so this unit seemed more than enough for my use.The installation of this product is definitely very involved, so please be prepared for quite a bit of planning, preparation, and installation time. It's definitely not a solution that just plugs in anywhere and works without effort, which I knew going in but I wanted to warn others. The instructions are pretty detailed and give you a few steps to follow for best results in positioning the various components. The first step is to find the nearest cell phone tower to you since you will need to point the outdoor antenna directly at it. There is an app you can download before purchasing to make sure the 5G bands in your area are compatible with the unit. There is also a website they give you to help locate the nearest tower. The outdoor antenna seems to be very sensitive to within a few degrees left/right so it really needs to be mounted securely so it won't move at all. I purchased a separate pole mount for a satellite dish that works perfectly. It's also important that the antenna is mounted as high up as possible, so I was ably to use the mount to position it at the top of my roof line and then I could run the cable through my attic to the base station. There is 3 lengths of 50ft coax cable included. I reached out to the company support email to ask about using longer lengths of cable and they responded within 24 hours, which was great. They stated that longer lengths may be used but they might also slightly reduce the performance. So you would want to ensure you only use as much cable as you need. I wanted my cable to be run inconspicuously so as to not look a mess.I ended up only using one of the indoor antennas for now, which seems to work more than great. I have a 2800sqft house and the one indoor antenna positioned upstairs in the correct orientation covers my entire house. I now get full 5G signal in every corner of my home and I couldn't be happier.Overall I am very happy with this unit. Definitely make sure you have the ability to position the outdoor antenna in an elevated and secure manner. I think I will eventually add the second indoor antenna once I'm able to run the cable neatly. I would recommend this to anyone who struggles with cell signals at their home, with the above mentioned caveats that it requires quite a bit of work to get installed correctly.

I was able to boost the Cell Signal for my Fido service which uses the Rogers network. The kit included everything required for installation. The outside antenna is a directional, so I took some time to find out where the closest tower was and did my best to point it in that direction. The cable length was fine. This booster works as intended.

I purchased the Atcall Cell Phone Booster to improve weak cell signals in my cottage, and while it has made a noticeable difference, it’s not perfect. The installation process was quite lengthy and good afternoon’s work, especially aligning the outdoor antenna to get the best signal took some trial and error.Once set up, the booster improved my signal strength from 1-2 bars to 3-4 bars in most areas of my home. It works well with my carrier (Rogers), and I appreciate that it’s ISED approved and supports multiple Canadian carriers as it also supports my partner’s carrier (Bell). However, I noticed the coverage area doesn’t quite reach the advertised 5,000 sq. ft.—it’s closer to 3,000 sq. ft in my experience. The booster does its job for basic calls and texting, but I still experience occasional drops during video calls or streaming. It’s a solid product for areas with mild to moderate signal issues, but those with very weak signals might not see dramatic improvements.Overall, it’s a decent product for the price, but I wish the coverage and performance were a bit more consistent.

The Atcall cell phone booster has been designed to work with all major Canadian telecommunication providers that use LTE, 4G or 5G technology. Once properly installed you should not experience anymore dropped calls within the covered area. You should also see a better connection for all of your internet based data on your phone and quicker delivery of your messages. On the LED band indicator it will show you the working status of the corresponding band a green light means that it is functional, orange means that it is completing a self test or there is signal interference and a red signal identifies an abnormal signal. It works based off of using an outdoor antenna that you align with the nearest cell phone tower and an indoor antenna being able to cover 2 floors of your home using the booster. The package includes your outdoor antenna, inside antenna, the booster box, 2- 30 foot cables to connect the antennae to the booster box and a power supply. I love the fact that It instinctively recognizes when it is not in use like at night or when you are not home and will automatically go into a sleep mode and automatically awaken upon use again thus saving you electricity when not in use. I have noticed a great difference in the signal strength and number of lost calls since i installed this booster and therefore recommend it for others who have reception issues in their homes.

We live in an area with quite poor cell phone reception, so thought we would give this a try. It arrives, packaged well, to reduce risk of damage. There is an indoor and outdoor antenna along with the booster box. The largest one, is smaller than a loaf of breads, so definitely not difficult to find space for it. Installation, you will need someone that can go up onto the roof. Then, once up there, it has to be placed in the direction of the cell phone tower. (Not gonna lie, this part was not fun) Once this was completed, we have noticed some improvement in cell phone reception, but I still get calls dropped at times. Its a lot of work, for mediocre improvement.
