About The Material These Picks Are Made From:
Celluloid was invented in 1856 and first patented in 1869. It was used as an ivory substitute and later the main use was in the movie, photography, and film industries, which used only celluloid film until the 1950s.
Celluloid is made from cellulose, one of the most abundant raw materials in the world, and was first used for guitar picks as early as 1902. This was to provide a reasonably priced alternative to traditional and expensive tortoise shell plectrums which had been in use virtually as long as string instruments have existed. In addition, celluloid closely mimics the tonal qualities of a genuine tortoise shell pick, but with greater durability.
Today celluloid also remains in use as a finish coating for musical instruments, especially accordions and guitars. Celluloid is very robust and easy to mold in difficult forms, and has great acoustic performance as a cover for wooden frames since it does not block wood's natural pores.

Solid picks that glow nicely. Easy to spot when its dark (or blacklight). Good firmness, but a little slippery, but score it a bit with a knife and you'll be fine.

What can I say, I like these picks, and I LOVE the price. Essentially you're getting a Fender pick at a fraction of the cost. It's a no brainer.

You can buy 200 of these for the same price on AliExpress. I needed picks soon. However, it took forever so I wound up buying 20 Fenders for the same price. The picks are constitant in sturdiness. The tortoise shell pattern is however not. Fenders are same flexibility but, a bit more pointed and slightly longer. The point is what we pick with so it's kind of important. I'd say you can wait forever and just order more bulk for the same price from China or Just get Fenders somewhere else in bulk.
