Your cart is empty.The 91353 is designed to provide superior airflow in a lightweight design to address the two features most desired in a central vacuum on off control hose. The 360 degree swivel handle is designed to reduce kinking, stress on the hose, and stress on you as the user by relaxing any tension in the hose as you move through the room. The 40 foot length provides extra reach and insure there is sufficient length to prevent tugging and pulling to reach to the corner of the room. The pearl gray color and soft rounded crown is designed to reduce the possibility of marking walls, floor, or furnishings while also avoiding wear to doorframes and chair legs. The 91353 is compatible with industry standard central vacuum Inlets including Nutone branded valves equipped with low voltage contacts in the opening of the inlet valve. You can confirm suitability by putting your finger into the hose opening and confirming there are two low voltage contacts on the upper surface of the opening. No need for concern as these contacts are low volt and will not harm you in any fashion. The 91353 is compatible with all major brands of central vacuum including Eureka, Beam, Electrolux, Vacumaid, Canavac, Hoover, Cyclovac, Husky, Vacuflow inlets with pin jack inlets, M&S, MD, Honeywell, Imperium, and most regional brands.

So I have an older central vac system and if I plug it into the outlet the correct way the hose does not work. If I plug the hose in slightly off center the hose works perfectly fine however I can't shut it off. I also think that the longer hose doesn't have enough suction and I probably should have gone with the next size down.

Hose is too soft, kinks easily. Also the low voltage wiring inside broke somewhere in only 5 months use renderimf the on/off switch useless. likely related to how easily the hose kinks.

The hose nozzle is a fraction too small to hold onto the sweeper pipe and the ball spring is to weak to keep the two connected when pulling the pipe/sweeper attacment toward you

This replacement product is lighter in weight and has improved flexibility than the original Beam product, which became progressively shorter as it split from use. The tool-end switch that controls the low-voltage signal to the central vacuum unit is a great improvement that eliminates the need to unplug the hose from the wall connector when cleaning is interrupted. We would buy this product again.

Hose is rather flexible and light which makes vacuuming easier. It does however kink quite often. The on/off switch is convenient but overall the kinks interrupt your cleaning making it less valuable.

Works great with my Power Star central vaccum. Long hose but feels lighter weight and easier to pull around than the original hose.

I IOVE this replacement hose. It actually has an off/on button my unit wasn't designed for. The hose is lighter and easier to control. But it's a softer hose, so might crush if not careful. But this made my built in system so easier to use. I now use it every time I vacuum. With my original, my old fashioned hoover was my primary. It's now off to good will....
