Reaslly great. It came waay earlier than expected and is great quality. That being said, i bought this for my 5yo to do his taekwondo training with but even with a full bag of sand (25kg), it still moves when he kicks or punches it but im not sure if that can be fixed with another bag of sand which i havent tried yet. Either way, great product, great quality and worth the price

1. It's exactly what we needed. Something for my son (7 yo) to beat up when he needed to let off some steam.2. It is sturdy. My son has already tried to climb it. So, we had to put some ground rules in place. No climbing and no hitting it with anything other than your body. As long as he follows those rules, I don't see him tearing it up any time soon. (Famous last words???)3. It's portable. Yes, it's heavy when filled with water, but the base is round, so easy to roll around when necessary.4. It's not gigantic. Bless the heart of that sweet young man at Academy who wanted to sell me the smallest heavy weight bag (perfect size for my son) and then pointed to the enormous stand I would have to use with it. Thank you so much for your time, but I'm not creating a dedicated gym for my 7-year old.5. I like the reviews that include pros and cons. We have only had ours a week. The only con I can think of was that it was a little smaller than I realized. But after watching my son in action, I think the size is adequate.6. The height of the bag is adjustable. So, it should grow with him.7. Very fast shipping.8. Lastly, KarateJoe's has been very attentive in making sure my product arrived, it was in good condition, I didn't have any questions, and I was pleased with my purchase.

Easy set up. 8 and 4 yo love it. Supplements their karate classes well. Note: kids will be tempted to climb it and stand on top. Discourage that. Product held up but my little boy took a pretty good fall. Bumps and bruises only. Still, use as directed. Lol. No leaks from base and has not flipped yet. Easy to slide when needed. Attractive enough that my wife is satisfied that it doesn't garbage up the house. I'm pleased. Keep in mind that I still need to provide motivation. The product's sheer presence doesn't make kids want to kick it more than 5 seconds, in passing. Parents need to make it part of a game or obstacle course. Again, pleased. I'd recommend it.

We bought this as a gift for my 6 year old and it is withstanding the torture my kids are putting it through. While we haven't put water or sand in it yet (that is on this weekends to-do list), my kids have been punching and kicking this thing non-stop for the past week. They've also sat on top of it while watching TV - I know it's odd, but it shows that it doesn't easily tip over and it can withstand some torture. When my 4, 6 and 8 year old punch and kick it (without sand or water) it rocks back and forth a little but it doesn't move much. Once filled with water or sand, I don't see this thing moving at all.

Love this! My kids love this! It's great to practice their Jiu Jitsu moves on and it was $20- cheaper on Amazon.com than in the local Martial Arts studios. Well worth the purchase. We filled it with water and it's weighted perfectly for my 5 year old. My 10 year old uses it just fine too, but you can tell that she's soon going to outgrow it as far as strength goes. When she kicks it, it slides away about six inches. Actually, she loves that because she feels powerful. :)

This is a great punching bag. The base, when filled with sand or water, is extremely heavy and stays in place pretty well. It has a little bit of slide to it, but not so much that you would notice while you're punching it. The bag is really firm foam encased in vinyl, and it seems to have just the right amount of give for my 9 year old son (bare fisted, no boxing gloves). Also great for kicking. The height is adjustable, so it's easy to find the setting that works for your kid. We've only had it for a few months, but it seems pretty durable and can probably take a lot of punishment. Overall a great product -- I would definitely buy it again.

Good solid punching bag. Most "youth" bags are junk at best but this one exceeds expectations. This brand was recommended to me as Wavemaster bags are in use at the local MMA training facility. Bag is adjustable for height to allow for various sized kids. The bag itself is basically Styrofoam blocks wrapped in a nylon material bag. We'll see how well it holds up over time but right now it seems to be ok. Using boxing gloves is recommended to protect the knuckles. It can be filled with either water or sand. Water is easier, but sand is much heavier by volume. The fill spout is at the top under the pad. It will take 200lbs of sand. Make sure you get playground sand as it has fewer rocks so it is easier to pour through a funnel. Putting it on a rubber mat is a good idea to keep it from sliding on carpet or scratching wood floors.
