This is thick, and works as it should. Easy to form around stuff you don't want burnt. I use it all the time now to keep things safe. Overall, it is perfect and does what it should.

This is a good price on a 2x4 ft insulating sheet for my smelting applications. I melt mostly aluminum so this will work fine for me. But at a max temperature of 2400F I would not trust this with copper, gold or iron. The risk is too high that I exceed the temperature with my propane furnace.Checking prices though I have not found a better deal for my aluminum melting needs. I may get more of this to put around the hole that my wood stove goes through. It is quite flexible and can be worked into smaller spaces.
