CeraSoothe® SA Otic Cleansing Solution 16oz

I am so thankful being able to purchase this on Amazon and have it stocked in my house. My dog is prone to ear infections when he gets wet, especially baths or swimming. At first he didn't like the drops going into his ear, but now he knows how well they work and he readily sits and waits for the drops! Same thing for cleaning dirt out of his ears after enjoying digging in the yard for moles.

Have bought this numerous times. Works great to clean ears.

This product was recommended by my vet for cleaning my dog's ears. My dogs have itchy ears that develop scabs and need cleaning. This works.

Easy to use and effective while not being an irritant to our dogs or our hands.

Only complaint is the twist lid doesn’t work well… just drips (our dog hates the tickle so a controlled squirt works better). Otherwise this has worked as well as the stuff we got from the vet.

On 12-28-22, I ordered Ceraven SA Otic Cleansing Solution 16 oz, which is the same original product our veterinarian recommended under the Phyto S Otic Cleansing Solution label by Covetrus. The Salicylic acid 0.15% helps maintain our labradoodle's ears so they aren't as affected by the humidity throughout the year. I hold up each ear flap and squirt enough solution to gently massage his ear canal. He'll shake his head, and then I use a flat cotton round to wipe any excess.I grabbed the new bottle to look at the expiration date: March/2025, which is great because it's taken about 2 years and 8 months to use a 16 oz. bottle. (I also use Zymox Otic Enzymatic Solution with Hydrocortisone 1.0%, which is thicker and recommended to use before a bath.)However, I also noticed the name on this new bottle is CeraSoothe SA Otic Cleansing Solution and Fragrance: Cucumber melon. This surprised me and is the reason I gave 4 stars for another new label with a fragrance. I guess it's a better marketing name with the verb 'soothe' in the title. (See photo!)Out of curiosity, even though I still need to finish using the rest of my original Phyto S Otic Cleansing Solution, I slightly lifted the protective foil-plastic tab on this new bottle. The scent is pleasant. Hopefully, this new solution will continue to do a good job drying out my dog's ears.

My vet actually introduced me to this otic cleanser and I love it! I have a great dane/weimaraner mix with super floppy ears so they can get pretty dirty/itchy. I love this cleanser because I can use it on a daily basis to clean her ears and know that it is a quality product because my vet uses the same one. I also appreciate that it has a pleasant smell because some other otic cleansers have a very strong chemical smell and/or vinegar smell. I can also confirm that it does do a great job cleaning her ears because every time we go to her vet they compliment how clean they are which makes me very happy 😊
